It’s going to be a good number of years and lots of early adoption by other drivers before I would even consider sitting in a flying car. There are too many points of failure. Imagine just one prop fails (this car has 8 at each of the four corners to keep it up and balanced),… it will probably hover on a weird angle before dropping straight to the ground. No thanks…

These fun ideas all seem built for some Black Mirror future when only the richest humans survived apocalyptic collapse and now they can have plenty of space to fly their cars around. I mean how is this practical in any city or suburb where it would actually be useful?
@CannonKnight

It’s shipping next year? Have the legal issues of being in FAA airspace been resolved? You need a license just to be a hot air balloon pilot.

No me sorprende tanto, al fin y al cabo es la escala de un dron, es un tanto logico que esto sea potencialmente realizable, ahora bien la ejecución de esto puede ser realmente complicada, pero es posible en mi opinion

To operate, drive, flight this drone (not a car), you will need a pilot licence. Driver licence wouldnt work on this.

The true cannon flying car concept, would have the wheels rotating 90 degrees (hub caps facing the down), and some sort of propulsion being vectored in that direction which would repel the vehicle upwards.This car is just a big drone at the moment.

I hope it’s built with a Macintosh system because anyone could hack it while it’s in movement and shut it down. That’s like a Tesla on steroids, I wouldn’t trust any vehicle that is computer generated. It’s just not safe enough for me.

Why are people so surprised and amazed that flying cars are considered something super special? Drones have existed in various sizes and capacities, so it’s only a matter of time until we incorporate that technology into cars, creating flying cars. Unfortunately, in the West, there may be challenges and resistance from vested interests that could make it difficult for inventors. Sometimes, these inventors mysteriously disappear, and later on, the elites from the West may promote the same concept as if it were their own. It’s worth acknowledging China’s achievements in this area; their advancements in flying car technology look amazing.

This isn’t a Smart invention because it’s too big for the road and it won’t fit through narrow streets and children will probably want to get close to it and then when the driver flys in that moment This car is a Death Threat and Not for Public Roads 😕 imagine the flying car waiting at the light and then they decide to fly in that moment and they have other vehicles around them 🤔 that’s Not a Safe vehicle 😵

I assumed that flying car concepts would evolve out of drone technology, at some point, as most concepts were built on airplane technology, thus far. However, airplane based concepts were never really practical. I’m not entirely positive whether this concept would be practical, but I will say that it is definitely a major improvement.
