Discounts?……… GOOD! 😀 Glad that you have your voice back Bridget. No one more thing next week, gotcha… just a bunch more things at CES 😀 Can’t wait! And we trust you’ll find a ton of cool things, and show a lot of love for things kids (and grown ups) would love to play.

Patents hinder education, creation and innovation.

No is actually stating what exactly is the infringement as there are many other pulse ox sensors in the market in many other devices…what are they doing differently? everyone seems to be repeating the same statements but I see little actual details on what is so unique to Apple. I work in a hospital with tons of pulse ox devices and non of them are Masimo.
@CrazyPirateUnion
January 5, 2024 at 2:58 pm
Never heard of Masimo until now and I still don’t know who Masimo is.

Apple don’t actually innovate they copy but do it better – it’s what they always do…. So not really surprising they get themselves illegal battles!

The court has already thrown out like 7/10 of Masimo’s patents. If previous rulings are any indicator, Masimo’s case is already fizzling out. Apple’s appeal was probably based on this.

Well…. Google owns Fitbit and the Pixel Watch 2 has been tested to pretty much be just as accurate…. I’d say “move on to another platform”. It happened to BlackBerry

Anybody with half a brain could determine that Apple blatantly copied a medical device company and stole their employees. And then they pretended like nothing happened, and they did nothing wrong, in typical Apple fashion. I hope they get their pants sued off and reliable for every watch sold since the six version.

They will worsen the Spo2 readings via Software Update on all Apple Watches 6,7,8,9,U etc… .
The same as they did with the worsened ANC on Airpods Max because Patent Problems with Jabra.

Glad you’ve got your Voice back Bridget ❤ though i quite liked your whispery quiet voice too lol. Im in the UK and luckily bought my wife a series 9 for her birthday & she bought me an Apple Watch Ultra 2 in October. The patent problem hasn’t reached our rainy shores yet. it only makes sense that the Apple Watch has one of the better implementations of a Pulse Oximetry they got it off a medical company 😂
and no Masimo poaching employees has been done by other companies Apple is no different 😅
