don’t know why the stupid/unnecessary last comment? … Tech Crunch is, after all, a newspaper about tech startupos and companies… that are all after success (money / profit) … so why the stinky eye? In the end, they are bringing value to countless busineses. They deserve all the success.

TechCrunch has become so anti-tech in the last few years I don’t think they have much credibility left in the industry. Ethics is not limited to EA people. The revolt by 95% of the company’s staff including Ilya himself should have been an obvious red flag for the reporter to question the ethics of the coup and how it was conducted instead of using TechCrunch as a platform for dogmatic attacks.

What does a war look like when you sit still long enough to draw it? Reportage artist and TED Fellow George Butler sketches the people that the news passes by: a 99-year-old survivor of the Holodomor famine in Ukraine, a man gathering books blasted into a rose garden, an architect whose home was hit by a Russian missile. Urging us to slow down in the age of immediate news, Butler shows how a drawing reveals what a headline can’t. (Recorded at TED2026 on April 16, 2026)
