@0:56 Apple blames instagram but we will revise our iOS because it’s instagram’s fault.

Apple just sounds pretentious with the Vision Pro. It’s overpriced for what it is (based on Apple’s own advertised features and specs), and I don’t want it to normalize ridiculous pricing for VR/AR headsets. You could buy a gaming PC and full Valve Index setup for the same price and do your “computing” with and without a headset. No thanks.

You’re NOT the target audience for the Apple Vision Pro.

      Move on.

I don’t feel sorry for all the beta testers who bought the 1st generation Apple vision pro

You’re not supposed to. YOU are NOT the target audience for this product so it shouldn’t matter to you.

      🤣🤣🤣

Quest 3 is great. My brother got his already and I had the chance to try it. It is so much more comfortable than the earlier Quests. It feels a lot lighter than it is because the weight is not so far out in front of your face.

who cares about vision pro, it will have no real games, it doesn’t have controllers..

      October 13, 2023 at 5:46 pm

VERY good hand tracking could make for some very interesting games, especially paired with powerful eye tracking. Eye tracking is basically a god-tier mouse. Hand tracking can make things very simple when the mouse-work is entirely done with your eyes. Plus, we did see in the demo that someone was using a PS5 controller with it. I bet they will release a couple VR controllers for it at some point as well.

@joelface movement is better with a joystick not with ur eye, and it needs VR controllers , not a dam console controller. if they are smart they’d come out with standard VR controllers . but it will probably cost 200 bucks extra. and i dont care how good the hand tracking is, im not making a gun with my fingers and shoot, a trigger is better

I mean if you’re putting 3.5k worth of hardware on your head, you better bet that it hurts… That’s how you know you’re getting your money’s worth :v

Remember Samsungs VR headset which was basically a plastic holder and lens to put a big smartphone inside. All that weight on the front of face and no reporter back then complained about neck pain.

Most VR headsets are like that. It’s not something that is new. Apple products get all the flack because it’s easy to get reactions to rumors. Not saying that Apple Vision Pro will be good. I think VR will forever be niche product no mater how hard Zuckie, Microsoft, or Apple tries.

I don think Apple Vision Pro and Quest 3 are competing products. Quest 3 is a toy for kids and kids at heart. Apple Vision Pro is for the Apple’s deep pocketed “pro” consumer market. Apples Vision Pro will draw more people to Apple physical stores than ever before to experience guided demos of the product. This is the real purpose of the Vision Pro. To get more people to physical Apple Stores and hopefully buy something.

No idea how Apple could be so stupid by making a wearable headset be so heavy.

    🤣🤣🤣

  17. Hang Nguyen

    October 13, 2023 at 7:45 pm

DOA if you ask me. Watch Apple say to work out your neck more and stop complaining. 😂

Just like their Air pod Max being super heavy, no thx. I’d rather have my lightweight Sony.

    • PSYCHO

      October 13, 2023 at 7:52 pm

It’s not DOA because this 1st gen headset is NOT targeted at mainstream audiences.

Apple also has plenty of time to change the build materials for the outer shell to make it much lighter.

It doesn’t matter what Apple comes up with… unless they start buying game studios, then create game controllers, then all the Vision Pro will ever be is an MR headset. Meta focuses on VR games first, MR second. Without games, it’s not going to attract gamers. They make up the bulk of the customer base.

      October 13, 2023 at 9:23 pm

Apple has no interest in gaming on this device. They want it to be a “mac on your face” and it’s entertainment apps shown are all about being alone and isolated. I mean – they advertised you can use it for 2 hours with an archaic tethered battery or you can plug your headset into the wall. Really? Plug your AR headset into a wall socket to use it??? What?? LOL!! They totally lost the plot on this device.

  22. Concerned Dad

    October 13, 2023 at 8:50 pm

I disliked your video because you had someone wearing a mask keeping the narrative alive. Bitter disappointment.

A guaranteed success in the market of YouTube Reviewer community 😂

  24. Robbie Burns

    October 13, 2023 at 9:19 pm

Well OF COURSE it’s going to be heavy on your face and add to neck and head pain. It’s big, it’s going to be heavy and has no counterbalance on the back. When no top strap exists, a back soft-strap is going to have to be super tight to hold it in place and your cheeks and nose are going to need to support the weight as well. It’s a poor design as shown in the reveal.

Glass and metal were the lightest materials they could find? 😀
