I bought a 32 inch smart tv and was moving it and it fell and broke.
IMHO LG makes the best tvs. Samsung does phones well .

@Cheddar323 🙃no the one I was replacing my LG with broke it was a Vizio. The lg has been with me for 6 years still works great. and I have a j series Samsung phone at least 6 years old that works the same as when I first bought it .

As it stands they are equally matched when it comes to tv’s – LG had a slight lead on large oled screens but Sammy has caught up by now as far as I can tell.

@Ric Ky this is my personal take from what I’ve experienced. 🤷🏿♂️

I really like the idea of that separate box for all of the cables!
I see “wireless” TVs in our future.

I’m pretty sure LG has made one already. The TV only has a wire for the power.

@Osmien yeah. They exist, but they’re not really feasible yet. It won’t be until TVs like this get more popular that the tech will improve, the price will come down and they will start to be commonplace.
Right? YOU aren’t going to be getting one due to cost. When the price comes down it’s more feasible. Proof of concept isn’t enough. It needs to actually be attainable by regular people.
So … it’s in the future and this is a step closer.

Actually that’s the connector box I know it comes with the frame tv but that’s it they must have redesigned it some where along the line

@The Gadget Guru I’m pretty sure we are saying the same thing.
This is where all the input/output cables go. Keeps the cables away from the screen aside from maybe one or two for power and audio/video. I’m guessing cables exist that will do both of those for a TV. I believe they do that fine with laptops and external monitors.

@zero11010 monitors sure laptops maybe but laptops don’t really have that much cables to think of

@The Gadget Guru the cable will carry a high quality video signal, a high quality audio signal, and it’ll bring up to 100watts if power at the same time.
Isn’t that all a TV needs? Hardware to handle which signal it cares about and do the work. But, at this point, that TV is exactly like a monitor. All the screen cares about is if it has power, and what video it’s currently playing and maybe audio if audio isn’t handled by other hardware.
USB-C will do those things.

David, you should review the S90C. (Although it’s a crap-shoot what panel you get: WOLED, last year’s QD-OLED, or this year’s QD-OLED. Although I think you’re guaranteed the latest QD-OLED panel if you get the 77″ model.)
