I hate Apple… yup, they are smart at business, and make great hardware…. but I can still hate the business practices.

Does this bird only criticise Apple ? With a quick scroll it looks like it, genuine ask and i also noticed she stopped at the list of companies right as Samsung came up 🤔
Is there someone else at CNET who reviews Samsung?

What’s the I.P. argument…We the Apple corporation created the very apples as well as the pictures of them so it belongs to us. How and why this hasn’t been laughed out of every court on Earth is astounding?

Apple is a leach – don’t trust them at all. Great article that clearly isn’t being bullied into towing the apple media line.

We want to put our game on your platform but not pay you any money, I agree with apple charging for the right to be on iOS, (30% on transactions ) but you can’t stop people buying it from them directly on there own websites though a link on the app) should just change it to a monthly or yearly contract fee then .

I’m feeling frustrated now to sync Altstore to my pc just to keep my side loaded apps working..
    We need sideloading on iOS..

    • Nsah Jerry

      July 7, 2023 at 12:18 pm

Wouldn’t side loading make Apple vulnerable?

    • Mirza Rizwan baig

      July 7, 2023 at 1:15 pm

@Nsah Jerry That’s incomplete information. Sideloading is also known as installing apps. That’s why sideloading officially supported on MacOS.
App store doesn’t protect iOS. It’s the iOS sandbox that’s protecting the OS.
 is using false narrative and sadly, people are falling for it 😕

I am really done with this company. They don’t like to play well with anybody. On top of that, they are so petty. Ex. USB-C. The products don’t work well with anything outside of the ecosystem. To pretend that this is for security or privacy is just doo doo. Great Video Bridget. Thanks.

Apple is correct on the security not allowing foreign apps. It sounds out of time but in reality it what keeping all my biometrics and personal data safe. Imagine the number of people who would sue apple over a breach in personal info. Apple then couldn’t blame the courts or the spyware malware app. Its almost like someone wants to knock them off their high horse. Everything else like owning the rights to a basic apple. No apple.

I enjoy the walled garden ecosystem because of its security and fantastic integration. I’m not a legal expert by any means, but it seems to me that $3T companies don’t lose many legal battles.

    July 7, 2023 at 3:25 pm

If you don’t like how Apple runs THEIR BUSINESS, then don’t buy it! Stop ruining it for people who want Apple’s security of a ‘walled garden’. I am SO TIRED of hearing about how governments are forcing businesses to do things that aren’t designed for their business models. If you are for this kind of government ‘imminent domain’ of businesses, then MOVE to a socialist/communist country! Same goes for apps! If you don’t like Twitter or Facebook or if you fear about China’s influence on TikTok, then don’t buy or use their apps! Let capitalism weed out these things!

The essential thing that everyone should be thinking about right now is investing in non-government sources of income. Especially in light of the current global economic crisis. It is still a wonderful moment to invest in gold, silver, digital money, and stocks.

Fortuenately I remain immune happy to say – my iPhone and IPad are so old (a couple of years) that even Apples app’s don’t work on them anymore. Sure, some people may moan, but I’m grateful for the added layer of security personally. They’ve become the most secure devices I ever had! And people are forever commenting on the quality of my door stops and paper-weights.
