Bro just wants a 13 inch laptop with a 15 inch screen.

what a shame Apple couldn’t bend the laws of physics in all this time

Or is it what you want/need? The point of the Macbook Air is the value of portability. At that size, why not just go with the 14″ Macbook Pro that is much better? The price most likely but as someone who wouldn’t use the Air now, I’m bias. However, adding a 15″ a part of me doesn’t see the appeal. If they keep adding and diluting the mac lineup, they just might return to the awful Apple of the ’90s when they were forced to bring Steve back.

As a fan of 15 inch PCs for years since my first computer as a teen, I’ve been wanting a 15 inch MacBook and it looks like I am finally getting one.

Long-time CNET fan. The first thing I thought when I saw the new Air in the keynote was, “Dan Ackerman’s going to love this.”

they priced it so well.. I couldn’t believe when it was announced at 1299. I thought it would be about 1500 starting as the MacBook Pro 15 starts at 2500

I would prefer 12 or even 11 inch back 😀

Now that the Air has dropped by $100, I think these laptops are almost everything they need to be. It’s definitely their mainstream laptop now. It does make that 13” Pro that much more irrelevant.

    I ordered a midnight 15 inch MBA.

Wow, is this guy ever bland. Is he really dumb or is he just acting dumb so his audience can relate to him? Blah blah blah-blah blah! The better part of five minutes to say it has a bigger screen and remind us of what the 13-inch has to offer, now with a bigger screen. And a hands on? Because he used the keyboard and trackpad? Did you use it for anything like… the internet? Is there any performance difference? Is the keyboard more spaced out? Is the trackpad bigger? Is it pretty much exactly like the 13-inch, just with a larger screen? How is this a meaningful hands on if you’re playing Captain Obvious? I guess CNET has nothing more to offer than shitposting about popular topics for views. This is a low-effort video of low quality.

You get so excited thinking about purchasing when you realize the base model still comes with 8 gb of ram. I can see why people say MacBooks are overpriced.

2:48 🤦🏽‍♂ how do you place that wonderful midnight MBA on a dirty table like that so casually? that should be a crime. the footage made me cringe. that poor midnight laptop 🥲

I would rather have a new 12” with M-Silicon. 15” is cool though, gonna up a lot of digital creators game that can’t afford the 14” and 16”

I so with the m1 Air had MagSafe though.

No more tapered edges.. I really liked how that distinguished it.

Now just looks like a pro, with different internals

If you find the 15 inch too bulky and heavy to carry around, but you’re ok mobilising around with the 13 inch, then you need to toughen quite considerably up my friend
