Had Z Fold 1-3, just couldn’t bring myself to buy the Fold 4, so i went back to traditional candy bar style. Heavy, clunky, poor battery, and poor cameras; I thought they would get better over the years and it’s very slightly. I dont have high hopes for the Pixel Fold especially with how expensive it will be and their track records with introducing new devices.

I am in the same boat as you regarding the pixel Fold, and I have been using pixel since Pixel 1, now at 6. Just kept thinking this time would be better but the software and hardware is meh at vest

I was almost about to purchase the Galaxy z flip 3, but I got the s22 because of the questionable of how durable and reliable are the devices. Because I’ve heard that they last between 14 to 16 months.

i’v had the flip 3 since it came out and it still looks and works fine, ????????plan on hopefully trading it in for the z fold 5

I heard the first generation Samsung phone folding. Isn’t decent condition beside a crease in the middle. I would suggest if you get one to get a later generation where the screen is more stronger. Also later generation have a bigger exterior screen which you usually I use most when I’m not sitting down

Samsung really need to release a 23 portable folding that is Affordable. But they won’t do it until they have more competition

the side bezel is huge, screen does not open to full, no innovative UI. xiaomi, opo, vivo, Tecno fold all better than this design and not cheap.

I’m weird but I have zero interest in a folding phone. I hope Apple never does one.

It seems like they’ve been trying to push these things forever and they’re still only 1% of the global smartphone market, they still feel like an expensive gimmick to me

I want a wider outer screen for Pixel Fold, and it appears they will deliver from all the renderings that’s been going around online. I’ve been a Z Fold user these last few years and hate the narrow outer screen.

J’adore trop le module caméra du Pixel Fold nettement plus esthétique que celui des Pixels 7 / 7 Pro !
Espérons qu’ils reprennent le même design pour les Pixels 8 ! ????

Switched back to iPhone for various reasons, but I had a z fold 3. People have to stop saying they’re not useful. I actually miss the screen real estate. Even texting and using maps apps are way better on a folding phone. And it immensely shines when reading emails and other work related communications. It’s actually too bad that Apple is conspicuously absent in this segment.

Those bezels on the inside are hideous. I hope thats not what its going to look like

samsung was de facto the first. they already had ideas, plans and prototypes way back in early 2010s when all the chinese phone brands didn’t even exist. the flexpai was just an attempt to be beat samsung as the first on the market. samsung easily could have done the same with a half baked prototype way before flexpai. therefore i don’t see the flexpai as a true first foldable phone. just an unfinished product from the laboratory.
