All the internet is run through cables owned by people. They are who have allways owned the internet. The fact that society things it’s ownerless is odd.

Now that you have taken up residence here in the Fabulous world, carve out time for yourself. Anchor a new habit that validates what solitude can give you. It can be as little as a minute a day.

Catch your reflection and don’t look away. Notice how you’re feeling. Give yourself a few minutes of self-care, where you sit down and soothe dry skin or think quietly while you fold clothes. Spend time outside without your phone. Is the sky empty of clouds today? Notice which plants are bursting and which are waiting to bloom.

Tune out everything else and tune into yourself.

Just like everything in the world, at some point some for of regulation will happear, because without it it can be harmful to the innocent or naive, or people might abuse it. We did it with food (FDA), we did it with movies (PG), and soon, sites and even Apps will have somekind of “label” to prevent us from falling into traps. TikTok is already being removed from some goverment smartphones because China’s goverment cannot be trusted not to be tanpering with it, and even THIS platform (YouTube) has already started by separating videos for, and not for, children. A welcomed beguinnig if I do say so myself.

What major stake of the internet does Bill Gates own? Seeing his photo in the 1st minute of this video with the claim that he owns the Internet has undermined the credibility of what I think he has to say. Should I even watch further…. ?

12:13 navalny is a ruzzian neo-imperialist influencer, a kremlin agent actor performing a role of pseudo leader of a pseudo opposition. NATO considers him even a bigger danger than ruschists, who are now killing my people and destroying my country if Ukraine.

Late last week, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission chair Gary Gensler said that he was “proud to serve” the agency, which some are taking as a hint at an upcoming resignation. Gensler has faced heavy criticism for his crackdown on crypto, including a recent lawsuit from 18 states, and is likely to be replaced under President-Elect Donald Trump who has vowed to oust Gensler. On Tuesday, the Wall Street Journal reported that Trump is meeting with Brian Armstrong, the CEO of crypto exchange Coinbase, to discuss potential personnel appointments.

This episode of Equity brings you an interview between Rebecca Bellan and co-founder and CSO of blockchain analysis firm Chainalysis, Jonathan Levin. The pair caught up at our Strictly VC event in New York shortly before the Gary Gensler news dropped to discuss the imminent change for crypto in the wake of the US election and Chainalysis’s choice to run its operations in the US.

Equity is a show about the business of startups, where we unpack the numbers and nuance behind the headlines. New episodes drop every Wednesday and Friday. Subscribe wherever you get your podcasts.
