It’s was my dream since a long time, I hate MacOS, but love how MacBooks build, I hope sound and touchpad will be awesome

Same here when I had to use a friend’s MacBook Pro for a project I was blown away with the incredible build quality yes I felt like it was like if I damm much as accidentally drop a coin on it I felt like it would snap in two but
I kept it mind when searching for a new laptop but every laptop I actually physically held in my hands felt like cheap and nothing compared to that build quality I hope Samsung has produced something that can compete with the MacBook Pro without Mac OS

@Ayrton Microsoft surface and razed blade and Lenovo thinkbook are the best on Windows

I used to own a Samsung Ultrabook from 2012. It wasn’t as powerful, but just as thin and light.

3000$ for a 4070 is a joke. HDMI 2.0? Even overpriced XPS and Blade lineups look like a good value in comparison. Big fan of their smartphones, but laptop are not the drill for me.

  22. Mike Rydstrom

    February 2, 2023 at 11:39 am

What ram configs do they come with? Previous gen maxed out at 16GB which is not enough for coding and running a few emulators. Min 32GB needed, 64GB would be nice.

    • Su Shant

      February 2, 2023 at 5:21 pm

      This time, it’s upto 32
      You get 8 16 and 32

    • Faris Hakim

      February 2, 2023 at 6:31 pm

Seriously, 16Gb is not enough? Wow, I thought 12Gb is the ideal already

    • Georgi Ivanov

      February 3, 2023 at 10:18 am

@Faris Hakim When you use your computer for work not just watching couple of yt vids and game light, you will understand that 32 isn’t pretty much enough. As a 3D artist i struggle with my 32gb and want to upgrade up to 64 at least haha

    • Mike Rydstrom

      February 3, 2023 at 5:07 pm

@Su Shant Thanks, I saw that later too in spec elsewhere. At least it is viable for most dev tasks then. I need a new Windows dev laptop for building Windows desktop apps. I use a MacBook M1 Pro with 32GB ram and 2TB SSD to target, iOS, Android and Web, it does the job very well. However, I also need to make Windows builds and my old one is getting too sluggish (it has only 16GB and it is not enough), this could be an option, plenty more out there of course.

    • Mike Rydstrom

      February 3, 2023 at 5:13 pm

@Georgi Ivanov yes I agree, for 3D rendering you might need 64GB. For my dev tasks 32GB is still OK, I have not hit the roof on my MacBook M1 Pro with that yet even with 5 projects open and maybe 3 of them built to multiple targets, iOS, Android and mac desktop. My current 16GB Win laptop struggles with even one project if I build it for multiple targets, 16GB is just not enough for many tasks. Good that they bumped the max to 32Gb. Not many Windows laptop options available that goes up to 64GB.

I would have preferred hdmi 2.1 and a full size SD card. What a shame.

    • Evacody124

      February 2, 2023 at 4:11 pm

Does not matter it like the Macbooks it’s trash. Can’t up grade the SSD or ram.

    • pax und peace

      February 3, 2023 at 8:59 am

At least it has an sd card slot but
Hdmi 2.0 is a shame even apple has only used the HDMi 2.0 on the previous gen MBP and the Studio while the could have gone the extra mile

  24. Batvds

    February 2, 2023 at 1:08 pm

  39. Hugh Gooden

    February 3, 2023 at 1:59 pm

It’s 2023 and samsung is only giving the ultra a 76watt battery. I’ll wait next year for the 14th gen intel and the 100watt battery
