@Brendan Beckett Yean they are 💀🤦‍♂️ past 7th cousin you’re pretty much pot luck relayed to anyone

    • Cinema Atrium

      January 30, 2023 at 9:04 pm

@Brendan Beckettactually its possible that you are related to matt daemon to. We all have 4 grandparents but 16 greatgreatgrandparents. So if we go back until 1625 with people having kids at 25 ….it means in 1625 you were the offspring of 65536 people that were alive at the same time in 1625. I mean 65536 people does not seem like a lot of people to be related to just at that time not even counting all generations after that. But the world population was pretty low due to the black death. So guess the probability of you, beeing related to matt is probably 1:20. (If you are caucasian)

    • Brendan Beckett

      January 30, 2023 at 9:08 pm

@Cinema Atrium Of course it is, but not likely — hence why it’s not as common as people are suggesting.

    • Cinema Atrium

      January 30, 2023 at 9:41 pm

@Brendan Beckett a chance of one in twenty is about as likely as people make it seem.

Some of the parish records in the UK have a profession listed against the marriage record so it’s possible (assuming the ancestor was English)

    • Rat Dragon

      January 28, 2023 at 1:51 pm

How do they know humans existed in the 1600’s? Because we have records…

    • Government Agent #762👁️

      February 1, 2023 at 8:10 pm

This is a really stupid comment.
A lot of those ancestor DNA tests, and stuff keep records of people’s ancestors dating back hundreds of years.
That is as long as they can find them. So yes it is common.
