… also good to know for beginners: how little importance the length of the wood is in all but the most extreme sizes and how much important the thickness. its also a 1/4 or maybe 1/5th piece of wood in thickness. When I was doing martial arts, we usually used 1/2 thickness boards

its not the „kind of wood“ what he has there is almost paper its so thin thats why she breaks it easily. when i did taekwondo we had like 2,5cm thick boards they dont just break when you slam your head against them because of the type of wood they are made of
