Seriously tho we shouldn’t send anyone to Mars until we can get people to live in Antartica without realiably having mental breakdowns. The mental health needs of humans are not easily supplied on the surface of Mars but they pose a very real threat to the operational security of any colonization effort.

When TED talks first came along, I thought they were great. But, not long after, I started seeing both TED and TEDx videos that were obvious nonsense. This video, which I will not bother wasting time watching, can’t be anything but nonsense, too. TED talks seem to have no filter…we’re expected to take utter fantasy, lies, and other nonsense seriously. Perhaps its time for me to just block all TED material…then I only have millions of other BS channels to worry about.
“A visionary talk”….like the kind of visions when you take hallucinogens. It’s entirely pointless to talk about having people living on Mars, when we can’t even pull off a closed ecosystem here on Earth. Until that’s been figured out, all this is, is a pipe dream. It isn’t like the space station–we can reach that easily and quickly…but for people to live on Mars, a self-contained ecosystem will be required, because it won’t be possible to send enough supplies to allow humans to survive for long.
Considering how Elon Musk fans are, with living on Mars in the near future being one of their favorite dreams, I’m wondering if this girl is a Musk fan. Would be surprised if she isn’t, actually. Elon Musk is a con artist, who’s gotten away with his BS for far too long.

2. Rehab abandoned homes. Build affordable housing. Address rampant increasing corporate greed which is a real problem. Provide counselling.
