Kevin, I love you dude, but how you gonna talk about Ahsoka in the animated Clone Wars, and NOT Maul in the animated Clone Wars??? the dude SURVIVED getting cut in half, by surviving off of HATE itself!!!!

lol, Darth Sidious coming back in the rise of skywalker was just bad story telling… that movie should never have been made!

It’s good for a mainstream look. Leia and Mara Jade really don’t belong on a list like this, do they? I mean, Mara Jade I get because she’s not mainstream, but Leia using the force to escape the ship blowing up at the end of Last Jedi?

Come on bud, I think that deserves honorable mention…

Obviously there was no way EVERY Jedi could be covered in 13min, especially with Smith’s proclivity to go into the most smallest nerdy details.

13 videos, maybe. Get on it Wired.

I find it extremely weird they picked Darth Vader for the thumbnail. What makes me wanna watch videos like this are seeing characters I’ve never seen before or atleast know little about so I can learn about them. Ah yes, the obscure sith Darth Vader. Sold.

  36. Reaperherpderp

    September 10, 2022 at 11:43 am

My problem with Reva wasnt her being black or a female or her acting really (although it was a little over the top sometimes) it was with her story and how it was cut and interlaced with the overall story. The fan edit of the series made it much better, even though the writing of her and her scenes left much to be desired.
    1. how does she survive a lightsaber stab to the cut and being left COMPLETELY ALONE on a planet
    2. the horrible cut aways to her chasing a child in the middle of the night, during the finale when darth and obi wan are fighting

If the Obi Wan series had actually ret-conned Anakin murdering children it would be extremely cowardly and deflating for the arc of the story and anakin’s character. Its shocking that you would even mention it. I know you aren’t dumb, Kevin, but that is a dumb thing to say.

I heard some people complain that Obi-Wan’s fight with Vader in Kenobi was just a rehash of the Ahsoka fight with him and yes it’s pretty much the same thing, but I think there’s a symmetry to those fights. Both Vader’s master and his padawan bested him in the same way and each tried to connect with what remained of Anakin in that moment, and both failed to reach him.

    • Dan

      September 11, 2022 at 7:18 am

Both Ahsoka and Obi Wan each remove part of mask on opposing sides (incomplete reveal) and then its Luke who manages to unmask entirely at end of Return, the completion of Anakins redemption, but following those partial reveals and attempts at his humanity.

    ✝️
*For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”*

An entire plotline about redemption and by the end you choose to go by another name (I’m talking about Rey Skywalker) I would’ve forgiven that entire movie if she had just nut up and called herself Rey Palpatine. What a kick in the nuts it could’ve been to take everything the Emperor stood for and turn it around by standing for good instead of evil. Just another wasted opportunity in the new trilogy IMHO.
