To put Bezos next to Musk is totally inaccurate considering how spacex is leaps and bounds ahead in terms of vision and execution. Bezos throws money at it while Musk is all in. One leads, the other copies

I wish one of these tech billionaires would make a space elevator

Space elevator would work a lot better on Mars or The Moon.

The space trourism is a useless waste of the resources by the same guys who are pushing the “green” agenda and want us to stay at home and eat bugs.

While so many are needing an affordable house to live in, others are getting up into the atmosphere and beyond ! ???? I’ve forgotten how to dream

Sounds like you haven’t herd of Elon Musk’s new Boxable modular homes

    • Atlas

      July 21, 2022 at 2:10 am

Then ask your government to make more affordable homes. Thats not the job for billionaires.

you like making misinformation statements? let me guess, you like cars that make brhuhhh bruhhhh! grow up, if you made some research you would find EVs “blow up” less per 100k cars then any other type if car, including ICE cars!

    • Exarian

      July 20, 2022 at 8:18 pm

@Bruno Oliveira the problem with ICE cars is that they’re cars, not just that they’re combustion.

Focus on solving the problems on the ground, instead of planning to evacuate the planet. Maybe the rich don’t mind choking the planet for more profits as they will have an exit plan to leave earth.

6:23 New Shepard hasn’t made any flights to low Earth orbit. The vehicle doesn’t have this ability and wasn’t built to.

Anyone else wanna induce Kessler Syndrome to give our planet a time-out for a few generations? Really make it clear that nobody’s going anywhere until we sort some stuff out.

I really thought thev title meant billionaires were buying regions of open space. I’m like, how does someone buy a region of nothing, a vacuum, the universe. That’s about about as ridiculous as buying a piece of a planet needed for survival. ????

    Many won’t get it.

Blue Origin hasn’t gone to orbit, they’ve only reached sub-orbit.
Several rocket startups are ahead of Blue Origin.
