Great video, I will be holding off getting the premium plans due to the lack of classic games. Hopefully they roll them out quickly to boost their catalogue.

Why not Dualsense controller? It should be supported ahead of the dualshock

I don’t this this guy even tried using the 8bitdo dongle with it because it should also work.

    • Cristian Gamez

      July 1, 2022 at 5:07 am

@otakukj Of course he didn’t. The 8bitdo dongle doesn’t come with a PS4, PS5 or the service… He is testing the official service.

@Cristian Gamez but he mentioned it in the video

This sounds horrendous with the level of requirements and the price. No wonder Xbox Game Pass is kicking their behind.

I like that you have the capability to do this……after paying for the new Premium service. I’d play games like GTA5 on the PC with out having to download the Game itself.

If you ended up using the dongle…. Why didn’t you try the dual sense? That dongle supports it

You know, I thought I had tried it, but I guess I didn’t before I shot this. I just tried it this morning, and the DualSense works great! Thanks for pointing that out.

For ppl who are complaining about not able to download, I get that but considering a lot of them are PS titles only so they don’t even have PC version. The only feasible way would be cloud gaming. Also Sony don’t have a PC game store like MS so unless they partner with MS or Steam, it’s hard for them to provide PC local play for players.

Especially the PS3 games. Those games are incredibly difficult to port due to the CELL processor is basically a unique architecture. That’s why Disgaea series are all available on PC except Disgaea 3, a PS3 game. Porting those is much much harder. There are a lot fewer native PS3 games on PC than any other console proportional to the number of releases.

First off the Premium tier already includes the ability to download and play hundreds of games on a Playstation just like Xbox Game Pass. This is about playing PS on a PC. Which is AWESOME. You couldnt do FPS multiplayer this way, but for playing Last of Us or Uncharted or Spiderman this would be fine. You cant get those on PC currently. This could be a game changer. For people wanting to play those games they may not even need to buy a Playstation.

Just to clarify on this, titles like The Last of Us, Uncharted (4 & Lost Legacy), or Spider-Man aren’t currently available on PC, but these specific titles will be soon, they have PC versions in the works. Otherwise, it’s a great way to play these games if you don’t have a console or don’t plan to buy the PC versions.

hello, the day before yesterday I bought the ps plus to play on pc, everything seems to be going well but there are two games that when i press start it they don’t do anything, they are the spiderman miles morales and dead stranding, does anyone know the solution? Does the app need an update or it’s problem of my pc?

    June 29, 2022 at 11:21 pm

So now there is no reason for xbox or playstation.

    June 29, 2022 at 11:22 pm

For god sake PC’s have had PS1,PS2 and PS3 emulators for years now (RPCS3 still developing of course but getting pretty good) but PS1 and PS2 could easily run locally wrapped in an emulator. At least make it an option and let the user decide whether to run it locally.
