My disappointment is that I don’t see why Android 13 wouldn’t work on older devices like a Note 10 or a phone around that generation.

Samsung has now started with their phones launched in 2021 and newer are supposed to get 4 years of OS updates and 5 years of software updates so that is the best in the android market

      May 12, 2022 at 6:50 am

@Jim Russell yep, now they’ve started that, so anything below the s20 won’t be effected

The early earthquake warning is quite spooky, its hard to describe but its very strange. Its been trialed here in New Zealand for a while now. Its only a few seconds early but it gives you time to get down cover and hold on to something.

We kept the mobile on vibration board not one not two around 300 mobiles it’s creating false warning

      May 12, 2022 at 6:55 am

@Omkar subramaniam interesting, in practice however so far at least here in NZ its only alerted with real earthquakes. Its really quite impressive

I hope that they can incorporate app lock like the Oneplus phones have. This is one feature that I miss from Oneplus. Also, a music player like iTunes. I dislike having to download a separate music player for my pixel phone. Not to mention that every time you download new songs. These music apps don’t place them automatically in order for you. You have to manually hold an drag each song individually into place. Not fun at all. Especially when you have over 2,000 somewhat songs in your music file.

Kinda lame. A few updates apps, minor design updates. And half of this could be done without even updating android.

Android 12 took away lots of UI customisation and features. Presume Android 13 will take away even more user customisation and features. Hate the new look Android and sick pastel colours all 4 of them and hate not having an option to change from them. Hate having pink and purple buttons forced on me.

About the driver lic thing. I dont think that will work when you get pulled over. I dont think PD’s will spend the money to get NFC readers or QR readers. The only thing is maybe its already in the body cameras?
