    It’s IPX4 not IPX7 or IPX8 you can’t dunk it in water that’ll destroy the tiny motherboard in it.

      Tried them again a few days later and they stilled sounded like crap. Not much changed.

    I’m very happy with wired earbuds. Don’t really want to spend all that extra time thinking about earbuds. No worry about charging, losing, or whatever. It’s too bad that these earbuds and headphones has become a part of fashion to show status.

    Would have liked to see airpods in the case in the washer. Then also in the dryer. Then after completely drying out and recharged.

    I’m often showering with my airpods 2nd gen (~every 2nd day since launch), and have tried going for a swim with them. The microphones are broken, but the sound works perfectly fine. Absurd engineering!

    Well this is great to know for brand new AirPods, but as Apple say, the seal is not forever and I guess that if you shower with them all the time for example, eventually the risk of getting them damaged will be higher
