This bike isn’t even close to what you can buy for this money. This bike is very heavy, it’s battery isn’t no where near other bikes batteries. It’s also too slow and range isn’t that far compared to other bikes that you can get for the same money.
This bike isn’t worth this sort of money at all. Do your research and you will be surprised how much better bikes they’re out there for this sort of money.

I returned mine, its to big, to heavy, not really a bike, in reality its a electric motorcycle disguised as a bike, but unfortunately its neither

Thanks for watching! Do you prefer to pedal an e-bike or cruise using the throttle?

    • Altema22

      October 17, 2021 at 4:05 pm

I do both. I’m a former marathoner who pedals out of instinct, but in group rides I throttle because it’s easier to keep with the ever changing pace. Having 80 miles of throttle-only range spoils me though 😉

i’m waiting for my sondors madmods- scrambler to ship in the next 3-4 weeks (after a long wait) but check out the review E-bikes USA just posted about the Sondors Scrambler model, it’s much more proportional for heavier or taller riders 🙂

Ugly super over priced junk.. those new companies basically import a Chinese brand that cost them less the $900 and brand it here in the us. If you want a motorcycle get a motorcycle- that’s not a motorcycle neither a bicycle, the geometry for pedaling is a joke. Bottom line you can get an actual e bike with better spec, better battery and suspension fork that actual comfortable to ride for less then $1700. The frame of this “bicycle” is the cheapest kind you can find.

Placing the battery so high is bad, better to have a low centre of gravity

    • Bobby Palladino

      October 19, 2021 at 12:38 am

Technically you are correct, but with a bike that weighs less than 100lbs it makes little real world difference.

    October 17, 2021 at 11:10 am

Are these bikes actually out to buy

  27. Altema22

    October 17, 2021 at 4:00 pm

Excellent video, and you got some great footage. You are so right about feeling safer in traffic with less speed difference between you and the cars. I also have to agree the Super73 community is great, and real down-to-earth. If you are in one of their group rides with another bike, and they stop for photos, they will insist you get in on the pics.
The design of the bike is iconic indeed, and my favorite accessories would be the center bags or basket, even if I prefer dual batteries. I’m not so sure about the 2000 watt peak of the motor though, as the performance doesn’t really match up to the numbers. Thanks again for the video!

i almost bought an S2, but when I saw a guy riding an Rx at the beach campground, i was like no thanks, it made the guy on it look way too oversized for the size of the bike…this bike is a good look for smaller ppl

The Super 73 RX is nothing but an over priced hype junker that isn’t worth the asking price. Customization is where the Super 73 RX has an advantage over the rest but otherwise it’s garbage. I’m loving my Spark Cycleworks Bandit dual battery eMoped, top speed for me on one battery is 40+mph, top speed on dual batteries I haven’t tried out yet because I only had the eMoped for 4 days and I need to get comfortable with it first before going all out. It’s built like a tank, premium components, 1500W Nominal, 2400W Peak, 95NM of torque, 48V-24.5AH Samsung cell battery, 12V electrical system, Steel Geared hub motor, triple crown inverted front fork, dual suspension front & rear, 203mm Tektro Hydraulic Brakes front & rear, 5 levels of pedal assist, thumb throttle, dual headlamps, turn signals front & rear, rear brake light, mirrors, horn, long saddle seat, 60T chainring, 7 Speed Shimano Gear Set and so on and etc. There’s no going into settings to make this eMoped go any faster because it comes delivered to you that way directly from Spark Cycleworks. It’s big, it’s heavy but the weight is well balanced while riding and that’s just the base model for $3,195. The Bandit is not an eBike but if you gonna spend this type of money you might as well truly get what you pay for.

Great video, thanks for posting! I ride dirt bikes and am super interested in the future of ebikes. Until the batteries can go for much longer it’ll be hard to make enduro videos with them.
