Hope that in the not too distant future that space travel will become common place like airline travel if we don’t wipe ourselves off the face of our planet. This is only a beginning and hopefully of better things to come.

Scientists don’t know a way to get to space without fossil fuel. Elon had the foresight to start by converting vehicles to electric to save the world’s fossil fuel supplies for his space objectives. Fossil fuel is now even more important. The Space Force of the USA 🇺🇸 was formed to protect democratic satellites 🛰 that gives us GPS, military communication etc and

  30. Lawrence Allen

    October 14, 2021 at 11:29 pm

George Tacky (yes, the misspelling is intentional), took a dig at Shatner’s flight, insulting his body shape…saying that he was “Least fit for the mission.” At 90! Think of it: Tacky, a militant homosexual Supremacist and Asian Supremacist, thinks he should have been the first because he’s homosexual and Asian! “…White Heterosexual Males Need Not Apply,” right? And he has the NERVE to body shame Shatner? Well, at least Shatner didn’t have to defend against charges of homosexual sexual assault on an intoxicated minor (the beanbag and ball handling charge) like Tacky did.

I was so glad William Shatner made it into outer space. For decades, he portrayed a character within Hollywood’s outer space, but this time he finally got the opportunity to travel into real outer space … the final frontier.

  53. William Greenough

    October 15, 2021 at 5:29 pm

they only reached the border of space, im sorry but i dont consider this as a ” space flight ” this is just a test mission, when you get to iss range then you can say your in space, the best thing i can say about this is, no one died, and the rocket did part of its potential job, we have the math to do a full launch to space and you only got to about 70% there :-/

“They reached the apogee”= They cant go any higher. Folks, these people aren’t going “Into Space”—at least, not as we’ve been told about—-they went 50 kilometers up, which is probably about as high as anyone can go before they hit “the barrier”
If you look at the footage carefully, you’ll see that the rocket starts to level off and go horizontal with the ground about 2/3rds of the way up–ALL of the rockets do this ,because otherwise, they would hit the firmament.

Another human to the space,it means another pollution added to the atmosphere. If the pollution in atmosphere are so huge, destructive hurricane, strong typhone will come. We need to protect our planet by decreasing the pollution.
We need to do something about climate change.

I would not think he’s 90 years old. I would think he’s in his 70s. Most people would lose their head to Dementia or Alzheimer’s after 80. He’s not even walking with a cane! He’s doing awfully well physically and mentally for his age! He might be able to live to be 110 if he’s doing this well at 90!

Why does everyone who goes to space say “We”? We are not polluting the Earth. The corporations and financiers are. THEY need to stop polluting the Earth, NOT US. Duh! Why is everyone so dumb??? I know it’s just a figure of speech to say “we”. However, it’s insulting to lump me in with all the evil people in this world. We are not all one being and one person. That’s a dumb figure of speech.
