    CNET – you are IDIOTS.
TESLA Autopilot FSD is FACTUALLY hands on LEVEL 4.
ONLY, a TESLA can operate Anywhere in the WORLD and even Unmarked Dirt Roads.
Tesla can also operate in just about ANY Weather as well, except for Possibly WHITE OUT Conditions , the other cars with “Autopilot” would also have to pull over as well. so, they are EQUAL there.
this is just MORE Tesla FUD , because TESLA refuses to Advertise with CNET.

Yeah, but the Havel Jolion ultra has most of these specs and could buy maybe four of them for the price of this car, these specs are not new, and are filtering down to lower-priced cars.

Words from a lazy “journalist” who did nothing to investigate Teslas full self driving other than to read a couple of magazine articles with dubious origins…. More than half of this entire video is completely false and / or misleading and can be debunked with 15 minutes of actual research.

This is the type of journalist who is looking for a thrill in order to survive and get paid by one of Tesla’s competitors. The content includes a lot of things related to the above. Criticizing Tesla is good, but don’t give inaccurate and biased information to one of Tesla’s competitors such as GM, a legacy and ICE automaker.

Staying calm through the daily market price changes isn’t an easy feeling to bottle in ,with the current price I will advise investors to trade before the bull run, as I still strongly believe BTC is going to enter the $70k record before year ending, although that’s my personal opinion. A lot of my friends who are holders are currently going crazy over the sudden drop in price and a follow up rise. Firstly, you aren’t supposed to be emotionally entangled with the market charts/price. This is a good realization I worked towards correcting early last year , so it was never second-guessing when an opportunity as Crypto trading came my way.
With much energy channeled into Trading bitcoin daily with the guide of an expert Mrs. Teresa Brandon, My portfolio went from approximate 3.2bitcoin to 8.6Bitcoin within a 3 weeks. I will always suggest to newbies or old holders , TRADE with an EXPERT! It is truly easy , only requires your time and guide with a mentor like her. 23. Dr Dudah

    July 24, 2021 at 1:06 am

Sorry. Did he just throw shade at Tesla and highlight Cadillac? Ummm… Cadillac had a throne and then realized old people were bad long term investments. Also, Tesla’s quarterly sales are equal to that Cadillacs YEARLY sales.

Haters have never owned a Tesla before. Revolutionary change in driving experience for price. My model Y is incredible in so many ways. Hard to ever want to go back to gas powered.

FSD will continue to develop. It’s not perfect and nor are the roads. It takes tons of data to perfect. Tesla has years of data ahead of the competition and much more live data coming back to dev teams for improvement. So don’t get so angry about FSD. Other manufactures wil end up copying Tesla much like everyone did to Apple with their laptops and phones.

Also, C-Net is pretty much the windows 10 of the journalism world – cheap, poorly designed and a miserable UX.

Tesla will be much like Apple. Started as boutique company for a small audience but created such an incredible ecosystem of tech and services that it crushed competition. Trillion $ later, they are THE go to for hardware. Tesla will be the same. Haters gon’ hate. Cadillac, though. What a sad fall from grace.

Yes as a Tesla owner of a 2020 model and paid for the full self-driving package yes it’s not full self driving. But have you seen the beta version here on YouTube? Also you’re saying that the GM version and the Tesla version are the same thing currently not in beta and you are so wrong completely wrong the GM version is a glorified cruise control. I agree that the name is wrong 100%, but I also agree that they’re not far from it and the only thing holding them back is regulations. These regulations that are put in place by policyholders that have been put in place by legacy automakers what does that tell you? They’re trying to slow Tesla down so they can catch up sort of like what you’re doing

It’s a lot more clear what you are getting when going on their website to order. In fact I didn’t see the words “full self driving” anywhere. You have to say that it’s pretty nice to get software updates which add features you didn’t get previously. It’s also possible to buy the hardware to get the autopilot which isn’t even fully developed for which updates can be provided. Maybe you need to get something extra afterwards but it’s because it’s deemed you need it and you don’t have it. Better than just being stuck with an obsolete car which is usually how the industry works.

I have always respected your videos but this is disappointing to say the least. You really didn’t do a lot of research. Tesla FSD is in “Beta” and in transition to Purevision. The existing system is clearly labelled as Beta and was used to develop FSD, compile and collect millions of miles of traffic and situational data. $10k gets you enhanced AP at the present time. I personally wouldn’t buy it today but Purevision and V11 software will take Tesla much further ahead. You could have explained this. Lazy journalism at best.

    • Heraklit N.

      July 25, 2021 at 8:14 pm

Well he has many points in this vid, yes. But it wasnt really alot of information for 6mins at all. He didnt compare fsd features and price to other systems, he didnt say anything about, that tesla doesnt claim that what we have now is the real fsd. Its a preview cointaining what tesla already made and you gonna get everything on the way to the full version of fsd if you buy this now. Its like supporting a game in the beta stage, and then complaining that its not a full game yet.

First The 1,500$ is for real 1,000$ and you only need to pay that if you do the monthly subscription. the hardware upgrade is included in the 10,000$ fsd (thumbs down for to much Missinformation and miscommunication 🙁

    • 徐嶸

      July 25, 2021 at 3:14 pm

But for those who didn’t brought FSD and have older hardware, they need to pay for the upgrade. Tesla stated that all of their car have the hardware needed for FSD. If that’s true, then why owners need to pay for upgrade?

    • Creative Mode

      July 25, 2021 at 3:38 pm

@徐嶸 you only need to pay 1.000$ extra if you do the monthly subscription. when you buy fsd for 10.000$ now the hardware upgrade is included ( he said that completely wrong in the video)
Tesla website:(If you have purchased Full Self-Driving Capability and have Autopilot Computer 2.0 or 2.5, you are eligible to receive a complimentary installation of our FSD Computer.)

    • 徐嶸

      July 25, 2021 at 3:47 pm

@Creative Mode Tesla stated all cars they manufactured got the hardwares needed for FSD, which means all Tesla owners shouldn’t need to pay for an upgrade.

Plus, HW3 is likely not have enough capability for full self driving, so owners will probably need to pay for multiple upgrades before Tesla achieve Level 5 FSD.

    • S King

      July 25, 2021 at 9:47 pm

You’re a liar, or ignorant. Some of the features he discusses are NOT included in Autopilot, but is included in the optional package that Tesla calls “Full Self Driving Capability” on their website.

      Full Self-Driving Capability
      $10,000
      Navigate on Autopilot
      Auto Lane Change
      Autopark
      Summon
      Full Self-Driving Computer
Traffic Light and Stop Sign Control

      Coming later this year
      Autosteer on city streets

Perhaps you should go check out the website so you won’t keep making a fool of yourself.

I own 2 Tesla cars and stock and am an overall fan of the company. I very much agree with Cooley in his assessment of FSD. I wish the company hadn’t branded it so optimistically. A more realistic branding would have been better for the company’s reputation and customer trust. Oh well. The only thing I wish Cooley had clarified is that GM, Waymo and those other systems require pre-mapped roads before their automated driving features can be used. Tesla is working on a system that can decipher real road conditions in realtime, so no pre-mapping required. Now, they’re not there yet, and who knows if they’ll ever be? But, the systems are not apples-to-apples equal.

That Hardware upgrade cost is only four really old first-generation Teslas like the original Model S

Again the FUD…fsd BETA! You know what beta means? Also, every other OEM approach is not scalable, it based on premapped roads. Tesla Vision relies only on camera feed from 8 cameras, not even radar 🤯 just take that in for a second! V9 is 🔥 and eventually it’s gonna get there, and can drive on ANY road, not only premapped roads.

Isn’t self considered a person, so therefore “Full SELF Driving” is basically you driving the car where as full vehicle autonomous driving capability is more accurate as it says the vehicle is capable of autonomously manoeuvring on its own. 👀

You’re conflating Autopilot and FSD. They are not the same thing. GMs lane keeping tech is only vaguely comparable to Autopilot and a long way from FSD. The real issue here is Tesla selling the FSD product before it’s actually out of beta testing.

Someone hasn’t tested the new beta version yet.

Should be called driving assistance… not self driving. It’s blatant false advertising, no?

When Toyota has self driving cars, then I’ll have confidence that it’s real. Even Toyota Corollas have better engines than BMW or Mercedes in terms of engineering quality.

    • Tudor Montescu

      July 26, 2021 at 6:53 pm

??? What is the point of comparing Toyota vs Mercedes?? Similar reliability, different power and refinement. BMW can’t be compared for reliability as it’s bad, nor for power/liter, which is much better. It’s all about balances. Also, what is the point of talking reliability of ICE cars in an EV video? They are orders of magnitude apart.

I’m what you would call a “Tesla Fan-Boy” and I hope this video gets 10 million views. I already knew this information but other people don’t. This info is so important for the non-fan-boy crowd.

Been driving “Auto-Pilot” for ages without this BS for ages, it is not “auto” or “pilot” in any interpretation.

Does it have a steering wheel?
    Yes – not self driving
    No – self driving.

I expect the technique somehow helps develop any innovative features like changing body colors via central screen as if I was in a fashion expo.

That’s interesting, but there is new software coming from Tesla. I’m partially agree with level 2 description, but not agree with “every car will come with FSD” so why we have option to pick one when purchase? Yup

Mercedes just started allowing the s class to drive on level 3 autonomy on special occasions on the autobahn

    July 27, 2021 at 2:45 am

Due to it’s inherently absurd nature, I sincerely hope this video gets as many views as possible.

FSD BETA is called beta for a reason. and, it had MANY more features than those described, as seen in the many teslacam videos
the other bit he failed to mention: the latest version isn’t public yet, only those in the beta have access to it

  91. Alexi Barroso

    July 27, 2021 at 6:59 pm

If you get FSD does it stick to the car when you sell it? OR can you roll the feature over to a new or other Tesla?

    • 徐嶸

      July 28, 2021 at 4:42 am

No, the FSD you brought stick to the car, and it’s not refundable. That’s why many buyers are so angry because when you buy a new Tesla you have to pay for FSD again.

  93. Ken Fromchicago

It was already a problem when Tesla called it “Autopilot” setting up a false impression to people who are not pilots.

At last someone is speaking about it,and standing against the ongoing cult which has promises on the same level as Theranus with it’s blood testing machine.great video and well said.
