That thing is going to have a 1 hour battery life if there’s not a more power efficient chip inside, no way that thing gets the claimed 9 hours

I play my Switch handheld most times like the original gameboy. When I want to play on a big screen it will be on a Sony PS5 or Xbox Series X. So I will be upgrading my switch come October.

Nintendo is just doing what Apple has done for years to milk its customers. Small incremental updates to the same platform even though technology now allows for bigger innovation, but money is the motivater.

Out of stock. In 5 min. Then we will say it isn’t a great upgrade.

Still 720p, no Bluetooth headphone support (it’s 2021), horrendous joycon drift, full retail priced Wii/Wii-U ports that are ancient, same battery life….The PlayStation Vita from 2011 has an OLED screen and way more features. Go home Nintendo.

lol. Indeed and all their games look 10 yrs old (Metroid Dredd, Skyward Sword, and BOTW2). These games I thought should only be $30 at most.

Switch users = give me my Bluetooth ear buds
Apple Haters = give me my headphone Jack

Some Switch users = joycons are drifting
Official Xbox Controllers = same crappy D pad, low quality buttons, still needs AA batteries in 2021.

if Nintendo released a pro switch that costed 500 bucks
Nintendo fans would be like = too expensive.
Their smart phone = $800 to $1000 bucks.

It’s obvious they had to make compromises to keep cost at 350 dollars. Unlike Sony or Microsoft, Nintendo does not sell consoles at a loss.

I just bought the Updated Switch last Week should I Return it or wait and get the Oled Version is the Question

Bluetooth audio can just be enabled through a upgrade, also there’s a lot of bias because it wasn’t the “Switch Pro” everyone was expecting

Nintendo slapped everyone in the face. 50 bucks more for oled display and Ethernet? Yay hyrule warriors still runs like crap on a bigger screen. Yay I can still use my joy cons that still drift. Yay take another suckers money 💰

The screen is also bigger. From 6.2 to 7 inches. With better sound making it worth an additional $50 compared to previous model.

Nintendo’s been releasing their Hardware as is with a few updates for decades get over it people the next Nintendo console is years away. This isn’t a new thing and it’s definitely not a apple thing. This is Nintendo.

Nintendo: “we dont release upgrades to products that arent substantial and add a lot of value to the gaming experience”

Nintendo, 2 months later: “We’re releasing a useless minor upgrade that took up time that otherwise coudl’ve been spent on a huge 4K upgrade edition!”

I’m really disappointed, but i saved my money.

Nintendo F’d up by not adding a 4k screen and playable 4k option when docked. I was waiting to get the switch pro, nah! Ill just keep playing with my PS5 and Xbox series X. Like always thanks Nintendo for coming short of everything👍👏

Getting irritated by Nintendo. I should stop caring about this antiquated company. New variant of Switch that should have come out back in 2017. Their E3 was a joke. I thought oh cool a 2D Metroid game which will be $30. $60?! Ridiculously overpriced when compared to games like Returnal! Skyward Sword an old game they are again charging as a new game. BOTW2 just looked like an expansion to BOTW1. Metroid Prime 4 will look like the previous prime games or a little better. The hardware cannot support an experience like any modern shooter.
