The silliness (but marketing genius) of this is that lots of top audio engineers- that work with the biggest music stars in the world- will often check the mix of a song their working on in the car… because of its abundance of non-linear surfaces making it a naturally excellent listening space, missing the unwanted reflections (very short echoes) you get in a regular sized room with hard surfaces. Now they’re just bringing those back by the way of some basic convolution reverb to make a good system sound slightly worse, it’s genius
