The library was supposed to operate similarly to a library of physical books, with only one digital copy lent out for each print copy that the organization purchased, but lending limits were removed due to the pandemic — angering book publishers.     What it really means is that these works will eventually be lost. Old software, music, videos, books, and historical views of websites will be lost forever.
