The quadruple cork is tricking’s ultimate feat: an off-axis backflip combined with four rotations in the air on a separate axis. WIRED’s Robbie Gonzalez spoke with some of the best trickers in the world to find out how they do it, what makes it so hard, and whether anyone will ever manage to pull off a quint.

Just saying there is a difference between a “cork screw” (which is what the video is about) and a “cork” which is where you kick of one foot into a similar 360 degree which is easier but still hard.

Kenzo Shirai of japan cant start twisting off the ground or he would get a 0.3 tenth deduction for early twist and no set just to let you know wired. (Kenzo in warm ups and practice has also achieved the 4.5 twist and a scuffed quint twist) 😀

  40. Mr. OtakuBaku smellysloot

    October 27, 2019 at 1:09 am

I know a way trickers can go for a quint cork if you set like a gymnast high and slow with a fast twist they could definitely do it soon most of the trickers are barely off the ground compared to gymnasts.
