Great video, and great advice for sticking to the Apple ecosystem on a budget. More tech videos should focus on practical advice like this.

If you upgrading every 1-2 years something is really wrong with you…3-4 years is where it really make sense…technology is a a stand still…nothing exciting is happening fr right now

Solid state buttons has been axed a long time ago. You definitely don’t need the pro since you don’t know much about em. Considering paying attention before posting fake news to a major channel??…

People thinking their iPhone 11 is outdated🤡

I’ll be staying with my 13 Pro Max for at least another year as it still adequate for my needs. A15 still plenty fast. Battery at 85% & gets my through the day, no problems. And I still think the “Dynamic Island” is stupid. No matter how much Apple dresses it up, it’s a large holepunch in the display that they’ve hidden as much as possible in software and called it an innovative feature. Do like the next iPhone will have USB-C but not worth the upgrade on its own. Plus I still need Lightning for headphones & Siri Remote anyway

1:52 Existing lighting cable ends on Type C. So Technically, you can still use NEW Type C cables of iPhone 15 with existing adaptor.
I’ve iPhone 14 Plus and still cable has type C on the other end so switching to Type C to Type C is easy

    Great look-ahead review! ❤

For someone who still has an ip11pm, 13 mini, 13pm and ip14pm (had a 12pm, sold it), I can confirm that the 11pm to 14pm is already a good upgrade (battery, camera, performance), plus, the dynamic island is a pretty nifty thing, all things considered, but not really a life-altering feature in actual day to day use.

my 11pm is still going strong with a replaced battery (still now at 97%). However, using the 13mini, 13pm and the 14pm feels way snappier than the 11pm in terms of everyday use.

Personally, having still an airpods pro gen1, gen 2 and an airpods max doesn’t really get me excited for the ‘rumored’ usb-c port, since all said audio devices are still lightning, so my whole apple ecosystem still wouldn’t be ‘lightning-free’ anyway, except for my macbooks and ipad pros.

But those coming from an iphone 11 and older, you’d be better off getting a fully spec’d out 14pm at a good discount when the 15 comes out, then hold out until another +2 models up increment before pulling the trigger again.

    Just my 2 cents 😉

Her spending habits are DEFINITELY not typical of the average American. She’s using a FOUR year old phone and drives a 2011 car. She and Bridget are atypical tech reviewers.

IPhone 5s here.. I’m not sure if i should wait for the 16 or?

I feel like the only real reason you have is the battery life is short.

The iPhone 11 is still a good phone and if software updates still are being implemented then you wouldn’t have to upgrade until they are no longer getting them for your phone.

You’d be amazed how easy it is to get a used phone on amazon. Then paying way more for a brand new phone just to wrap it in a case and never even see the back or sides of the phone anyway.

Why is 15 and the Plus are still 60Hz, it should be 120Hz , because cheap Androids phones have this feature, and the Pro and Ultra/Pro Max at least 144Hz, especially the price

I’m still using my 3 year old iPhone 11 Pro Max. Still waffling about buying the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

All i wanted is a new look, design, and camera orientation. I’m loving my 12 but the looks from 11 up to 15 , not worth upgrading. 🥱🙅‍♂️
