5:24 I like seeing people laugh at the prices in usd like the guy said like $3k for the upgraded storage but in Australia no one is probably buying them because for like a 1 tb is like $5800 aud which absolutely ridiculous even for a 17pm which I’m about to upgrade is $2k

Regarding the price, with carrier’s leasing programs like Bell in Canada. I can save around $1000 USD, then I can either return it after two years contract or continue pay to own it.

@TheOnlyDTM It’s like paying for the iPhone 18 Pro Max for two years of value (outright value), after which you can return it to get a new one or continue paying to own it outright. In my experience, I usually get a new device every two years anyway, so $1,000 USD in savings through a carrier is a good deal. The only downside for me is that Bell doesn’t offer the white color option for 512 GB or higher—only the Night Sky option, so I’m going to have to go with Night Sky.

Regarding pricing with carrier programs like the ones in Canada, for example, with Bell, where they offer a leasing program, I can save $1,000 if I lease the iPhone Duo. Then, after two years, I can either continue paying to own it outright or return it, save the $1,000, and get a new device.
