This updates has so many bugs my apple watch 6 stopped working

For me on the series 8 no problems at all, only downside that it uses more battery, specially with always on. Without always on it’s fine

How can i access the recent apps?

Bringing up the control center inside any app was always possible
You just need to press and hold before swiping up
This is the worst watchOS update ever

Eyy! Guess who’s back?! Back again..
    It’s *Lexy Savvides* ladies & gents 🎉🥳😄

I mean tbh *Bridget* is the only reason that I still subscribe to CNET recently but now that *Lexy’s* back, she just doubled the reason why I still a sub 😆

Oh and I’m still missing *Ashley* tho, the last third of my CNET “Charlie’s Angels” 😅 but I don’t think she’s coming back, but thats okay I still got 2/3 the reasons to watch CNET videos. 🙃

Please Apple Bring Back Watch Face Swiping between all the different watch faces!

  11. Michael Shafer

    July 15, 2023 at 12:56 pm

All I want from WatchOS for the Ultra is the option to toggle Focus mode on/off when you hit the Action button. That is all.

A bunch of features nobody cares about.

I’m sure people with Apple watch cares lol if you don’t have one then maybe but as of now, the Apple Watch is the best selling smart watch so plenty of people care

The swipe from the side to change watchfaces was a welcome addition for me when it came out, hope they reconsider!

    • adegbenro agoro

      July 15, 2023 at 8:07 pm

All you’re going to do differently is long-press AND then swipe

    • Marcos

      July 15, 2023 at 9:28 pm

I always found that swipe annoying, I do the swipe as a pacifying gesture of sorts sometimes when I don’t have anything in my hands and got annoyed with myself by changing the watch face… I use focus modes to control my watch face anyway so I welcome the streamlined interface 😊

I use the outdoor walk app daily when I take my dog for a walk however every time my dog stops to socialise with another dog or do his business I get a prompt asking me if I’ve finished my walk. Frustrating and no way of fixing without switching to open goal which means I lose a lot of features.

For the moment watchOS 10 is ergonomically completely regressing

  18. Florin Catalin Iacob

    July 15, 2023 at 3:16 pm

How about when the watch OS 10 official releases and I don’t have an iPhone compatible with iOS 17 like my iPhone 10 , that’s that means I can’t install watch OS 10 on my watch?

  19. Tom MacBride

    July 15, 2023 at 3:58 pm

Nice hands! U way better looking than a watch🙂Cheers!

  24. Corey

    July 15, 2023 at 9:33 pm

I could forgive everything bad with watchOS 10 if they just brought back swiping between watch faces. 😞

  25. B F

    July 15, 2023 at 10:51 pm

4:00 No! They changed the grid view and it rearranges people’s layout! That’s like changing someone’s homescreen on their phone, that’s evil!

  26. Justin Time

    July 15, 2023 at 11:03 pm

You can’t roll back, but when they actually release watchOS 10 , you can install that and you’re good again right?

      Yes

  27. Mic

Wish the side button was more useful. I rarely activate control centre throughout the day, yet there is a whole physical button dedicated to it.

Can I use watch OS 10 with iOS 16?

  30. Ian Kastelic

    July 16, 2023 at 2:30 am

Thanks for a great video, Lexi! Question: I understand that I can take a screenshot of the watch when I press the digital crown and the action button at the same time. I have given my action button and assignment and it doesn’t work. Is there any way around this? Thanks so much!

    • Johan Westerlund

      July 16, 2023 at 4:55 am

What happens if you enable the screen shot function in Apple watch app in iPhone under: my watch, settings?

  31. Doğuş Şahin

    July 16, 2023 at 2:40 am

Very bleak review, btw why you have to talk on phone when you review watch os? Also your nice accent unfortunately cannot cover your poor research

  32. Mike Coshan

    July 16, 2023 at 4:23 am

Wish Apple Watch had a much wider range of watch faces as Samsung seem to have a huge selection & some brilliant watch faces.

Having your hiking activity and topo maps repeated is such a wasted opportunity. I will STILL be using Work Outdoors for my hikes given maps AND my current activity are all in one app. Fix this Apple.

Full-body acupuncture in a room full of mirrors? Something along those lines, Apple engineers.

  39. Andrew R

    July 16, 2023 at 12:06 pm

Well I’m happy swiping doesn’t change the watch face. I do that all the time on accident and it’s annoying.

  40. phonepup_mk8DX

    July 16, 2023 at 1:05 pm

It’s kinda nice being able to just hit the side button for the control center to see battery easily whenever

    • Mr. Judgi

      July 16, 2023 at 3:04 pm

yes, theoretically it is but they removed the fast switching between Apps (double klicking the crown) so they made the rest of the watch less useful

  41. Jeffrey Weinstein

    July 16, 2023 at 1:10 pm

For both health and anti-aging. I wracked my brains on it and still haven’t come up with anything. Half-silvered glasses? A remote drone?

  42. Jeffrey Weinstein

Hey Facebook … mystical experiences are information, and information is energy, and energy is food?

  43. Mr. Judgi

    July 16, 2023 at 3:03 pm

I hate the new ui, it makes it way slower to use Apps and 2:44 you could access the control center from everywhere before too so i think they just removed some features what makes it just annoying and is the reason why i wll stay on WOS 9
