About 5 minutes watching & it’s all about M1, skip, skip, skip… naaaaaah, just bring back the Apple backlight glowing thing. 🥱

I love how they expect us to take “Fastest CPU ever” as objectively true with absolutely no proof lol. I am sure it is fast but how about throwing a couple of numbers up on the screen eh? You lose that slide in the PowerPoint? Oh whoops I mean ‘keynote’

They are probably good. May not be. People used to get excited. Now it has just become just another laptop. Unless you make videos or apps to make a living or just play games all day and eat pizzas, who cares. Can it run youtube, edit word document, and browse internet and costs under $500 and looks good? Good enough for majority of normal people.

There I was, ready to pull the trigger… The MacBook Pro?!?! 13 inch??? C’mon Apple… I mean dam, you couldn’t give us a 14 inch, must you micro increment us into oblivion. Dam, give us a 14” right off the cuff. I won’t be buying.

It’s really nothing more than what Microsoft did with their proprietary garbage.

I wonder if they fixed the Mac mail app, so that it will stop breaking every other day and forcing me to re-enter the credentials of my email accounts?

  10. Matthew Howell

    November 11, 2020 at 1:09 am

Didn’t they used to have a technology, called Rosetta, that was phased out when Apple went from power PC to intel?

  11. Matthew Howell

    November 11, 2020 at 1:11 am

I see the Apple executives decided to take a “steeple hands” presentation class.

Someone explain this to me like I’m five: what’s the significance of the new “silicon”/amd processor/ing power and why intel is getting reamed right now!!!

Also will we need that newest processor to enjoy the new big sir update?

  18. physics77guy

    November 11, 2020 at 3:31 pm

so basically mac is getting converted into a ipad but in a laptop form….. apple has a cash cow on their hand where they are going to force people to use their optimized developed apps and make them pay for it…. good strategy…. microsoft learn from it.. this is how to make money

Apple has been making the fastest mobile chips for 10 years, now they’re starting on computer chips that beat an i9-10910. Doesn’t matter if you like Apple or not, this is incredible.

I’d like to see Apple do a presentation without mentioning the word “excited”. I really don’t think they could do it. Good job in this latest presentation with Craig’s hair – not one out of place. Bit concerned about what he was looking at though when he peaked into the MacBook Air. Tim’s stance these days is of someone who rides a horse everyday. Nice hottie with the Mac Pro presentation. I will confess I was excited.

    November 12, 2020 at 11:50 am

What they forgot to say: “With Apple M1, we also locked down your Macs from 3rd party repairs so that you’ll be forced to fork over more $$$ to us for repairs”.

Apple should do a buy back 😂 My 15” MBP sounds like it’s going to overheat and burn out when I use it…been that way since I bought it and Apple said there’s nothing wrong with it.
