Because it’s a Facebook product. When you share the 60 second videos, it’s not for YouTube, it’s for whatever social media app on your phone so it fills the whole scree vertically

So just an fyi if you have an iPhone 15 Pro and record spacial videos Meta Quest 3 also plays them back in 3D. I’m not sure why you don’t mention that when you’re talking about the price. You additionally need to have an iPhone 15 Pro regardless of the headset you use for playback. Also I use the Meta Raybands as prescription glasses and just put a smaller pair of spare glasses in the same meta case for swapping. I find more substantial memories I will record spacial videos but not near as many as the raybans.

Clickbait! It was not a comparison video at all. It was just a take on Meta Glasses. Wasted my 5 minutes.

What I would like to see Apple implement with it’s “Spatial Videos” is an stabilization format that moves the “window” of the video around in 3D space within the Vision Pro as you move your phone around. That would keep the “world” frozen in place even though your camera, at the time, wasn’t. This would be easy enough to implement, and could easily be turned on or off based on your needs, but I think would really add a lot of value to the format.

When my daughter played back video I took with my Meta Smart Glasses, because of the first person viewpoint, she said, “It is like I get to be dad for a while”. It made me think… I have an old audio file of my now departed father leaving me a message which I play back from time to time to reconnect with him. What videos could I gather that I could gift back to my daughter for now but ultimately for that day in the future when I won’t be here? We live in exciting times and the Smart Glasses make me think differently about how I grab and save memories.

I love my prescription meta ray bans, no one has ever noticed them. I have recorded soooo many cool videos with them, I already wear glasses every day so I figured why not pick them up. The meta AI is actually super useful too, overall I’ve been very happy with them. Can’t wait till we get smart glasses in a similar form factor with a screen/AR! We’re living in the future 🤓

Rayban glass has replaced my Airpod Pro. Yes, I’m compromising the sound quality but it’s way better to have open ear sound system. Downsize is, it’s terrible in noisy environment.
But I’m really happy with rayban glasses. Airpod pro has been acting weird lately, not charging both pods and constantly connecting back in forth with my phone and mac, I was so frustrated with it.
One of the best feature of rayban meta glasses is you can start conversation with either meta AI or ChatGPT AI. Freaking awesome.
Video and Camera quality is almost iphone 8/10 level but horrible at night.

@@andyvaldez4334 I use Iphone 15 which has the action button. I assigned the Action button as Chat GPT Voice command and just after clicking it I can start talking with GPT AI.

It was not long ago tech company stayed clear of glasses with cameras, citing privacy concerns. Anyone who possessed these was seen as a creep immediately. “They have camera glasses, well of course its to take questionable pictures/ videos”. I’m curious what changed.

Ray-Ban Meta Glasses are amazing! You have to own a pair to actually understand how it works and appreciate it. My only complaint is the battery but I bring my case and my extra glasses with me everywhere I go. Making memories is so much easier and fun! I highly recommend. Maybe the next version will have a bigger battery 😎
