The U.S. Government needs fewer manufacturers and more companies that can service the technology.

service what, the sensitive software? his point isn’t open-sourced f-35 code to “more companies” but rather having more capablities made by more companies. Rather than one super expensive weapon for air superiority, hes saying s system of cheper technolgies working together is the better aproach forward despite the current incentives

@@xXLgtscopsXx My company operates drones for the DOD we leave morons like yourself thinking you’re going to take out Boeing and Lockheed never going to work. Our IDIQ will far outlive you trying to manufacture and outsmart already-proven vendors. The DOD needs tech-based manpower NOT more hardware and software guys. They know how weapons and tech work.

True he said at the end. I’m keeping the comments as he is smiling talking about it. It might be just his body language.

Also, I agree that we should be prepared always.

Not going because if equipment ever captured and reverse engineered we no longer have the edge .
Just like when iran captured our drone in 2014.
Lets not forget china / russia not gonna play drone games soon as they start losin those nukes are comin out end game for both sides.
This is only useful for weak countries we can bully with no real military

The issue is American weapons industry is reliant on ripping the system off. So production is so expensive. The Chinese manufacturing industry is based on doing things cheap. And millions of cheap drones can destroy all your air defence and war ships
