      Also, why even bother getting one when you can just either use an existing dedicated tablet, hack/use an e-ink device or use a normal calendar (physical or digital) like everyone else does?

      ​@Motwera, obviously, because the point is to have a dedicated device to the calendar function and using a tablet already purchased requires it is rarely / not in use, also still remains capable to run the appropriate apps.

      On top of this, a turnkey solution is convenient, especially when you have the money to spend on it.
