It is so terrific to see someone doing something, anything, positive for all of mankind. Keep up the great work! Hopefully more and more people will become aware of your efforts and support you.

i reckon improve the sustainable plastic recycling technology is important as much as we pick up rubbish in sea

Yes just as much as this is important, it’s more important that humans change their behaviors.

      OMG they’re KILLING EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just can’t fathom how people are so XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX to ask such stupid questions. This isn’t a barrier from top to bottom. It’s catching floating debris, you know, like plastic???????????????

But hey, 5 other idiots gave you a thumbs up.

      Science is MAGICAL!

Just another part of the green-industrial complex.

    • John Doh

      February 23, 2022 at 8:14 pm

And it’s costing you nothing. Amazing how a lot of “green industry” ends up being awesome that way.

      February 23, 2022 at 10:52 pm

@John Doh The green-industrial complex costs everyone something, because it’s an industry complex, and it’s mainly funded by corporations that produce the waste.

My big question is how are we properly disposing of the garbage after it is captured? A lot of plastics aren’t recyclable, what are we doing about that?

    • Colton Piper

      February 23, 2022 at 4:07 pm

I think the goal is to get the plastic out of the ocean in order to keep fish from eating it. Meaning humans will eat less plastic as we eat fish. But good question.

    • John Doh

      February 23, 2022 at 8:00 pm

So part of the plastic IS recyclable. With the rest, what do you do with your garbage?? Assume they’re smart enough to dispose of properly, instead of dumping it back in the ocean, and no that isn’t a good question. It’s silly.

    • Artur Sharafyan

      February 23, 2022 at 8:10 pm

      It is a good question

How are they managing sub surface trash?

    • John Doh

      February 23, 2022 at 8:02 pm

I don’t think you can. There’s no good way to scrub a bottom without interfering too much with aquatic life.

That’s called boots on the ground and if you know a place that needs it, join part of a group that will clean it.

Coca Cola! Really? These guys produce so much plastic rubbish globally. Maybe if they changed their business model we wouldn’t have so many plastic bottles in the oceans?

I need a link to say THANK YOU to the Coke folks. Everyone (and I mean EVERYONE) needs to write to Coke and Warren Buffet (who owns a ton of their stock and based out of the USA) to say thank you for being environmentally responsible and sponsoring a couple of Interceptors!! WOW I never thought I would see the day when Coke would step to the plate, well done, folks !!

It’s great what you’re doing! but there is a guy in the Philippines ” tropical ocean cleanup” who makes Kabooms out of waste tyres and plastic bottles and collects rubbish with locals and has been doing it for the last 9 months with a shoe string budget and the help of locals, why not get in touch with him and see what putting your heads together can achieve? because so far you claim to be making these inventions and over the years I have seen many individuals with many machines similar to what you have shown, (Not the Wilson’s) strive to clean up Man/womankind’s mess going back 15 years
