Umm.. why does the Hyundai N vision 74 look more like a take on a modern Delorean than this thing?

  3. Edd Jordan

    August 20, 2022 at 11:50 pm

wow manged to make that look generic and nothing like the original great work. if it drove by me i wouldn’t be able to tell what it was 5 out 1 stars.

Looks incredible. let’s go back to the future.

How is this design not copying the Lucid Air? Even the two interior screens resemble the Lucid’s.

So now you can track the people in your contacts from your phone, not creepy at all

  7. Adrian Nel

Those doors looked really ‘flexy’ opening up. Now, because they’re some other exotic compo, they probably won’t crack, but it wasn’t impressive.

Looks nothing like a DeLorean. They’re just using a name to sell whatever this is.

  14. Ye Jia

    sorry, Hyundai’s N Vision 74 did a better job.

I think the DeLorean should of been a SUV, 6 seater, to compete with the Tesla Model X base.

Nice to have the “floatation vest” on for this back to the future successor. I see what you did there Brian. 👍

Hopefully the driver can move the car forward or backward out of a tight spot with the key fob or in an app, if not they might not be able to get into the car if someone parks next to them🤣

Much like the VW Beetle, each new generation is uglier than the previous one. It’s not in my price range anyway.

  26. Jay Thomp

    August 21, 2022 at 9:34 pm

Is it named after the Power Ranger’s Alpha 5 character? A dream car come true. Very good job by all the engineers that brought this to fruition.

  27. Cody Cha

    August 21, 2022 at 9:54 pm

Alpha5 has no DNA of the original DeLorean other than the gullwing

  28. C K

The Hyundai N Vision 74 looks more like a new DeLorian than this. I think I like Hyundai N Vision 74 as a DeLorian replacement than this.

  37. Schoeffeur

    August 21, 2022 at 11:08 pm

So Delorean made one car before this and this car looks nothing like the last one. The car from Hyundai looks more like a delorean than this bubble butt.

  38. TechDove

    Looks nothing like a Delorean

  39. J333L

The desgin doesn’t feel like a delorean at all.

  40. ms usa

    August 22, 2022 at 12:03 am

Love the car but there are 3 problems that need to be solved for all electric cars, 1. Infrastructure, 2. Infrastructure, and 3. Infrastructure of the electric grid that will not support all these electric cars. Until then this is just another dream car that will probably not be made. Only Tesla has made a true real electric car with a Infrastructure that at lease allows you to navigate large population areas but it still doesn’t support back roads and small cities. So I am staying with gas for now but I would love to own a electric if I could charge it anywhere in North America.

  41. The Realm God

I like the old delorean better than this one, but amazing video🔥

  44. Abraham Salas

    August 22, 2022 at 12:18 am

This doesn’t look like a Delorean at all. I wouldn’t be able to tell if that was a delorean while driving in the streets.

  45. chad d

    August 22, 2022 at 12:48 am

Wish they would have been more bold with this icon. If I saw this on the road I’m not thinking it’s a Delorean. Could be anything. Nobody has a design anymore. They’re all making generic sleek cars. Except the Daytona. They made it look like the 68 model. Delorean should have done that. Why not embrace what you are instead. Back to the Future.

  46. Lepoy Yopel

    August 22, 2022 at 1:04 am

what i love about the old De Lorean is ….. the combustion engine

  47. Lawrence King

    August 22, 2022 at 1:09 am

The font for the letter E on the Delorean branding looks similar to Tesla.

  48. Dino Diary

    August 22, 2022 at 1:12 am

    This is a disappointing DeLorean.
Even Hyundai stayed true to the original design of the Pony Coupe, which was designed by the same designer as the original DeLorean.

  49. jimmycapp29

    August 22, 2022 at 1:24 am

So it will tell me where all my contacts are? While I’m driving? That’s not a thing.

LOL literally BACK TO THE FUTURE

  51. CoolRaul

    August 22, 2022 at 8:51 pm

The fact that all you’re talking about is cosmetic junk says you’re catering to old people who bought cars solely on if it had leather or not and didn’t care about how it functions. You haven’t mentioned anything about range or the fact that you weren’t given range numbers that should be more important

  52. claysmell

Plasma Tail sends Doug DeMuro into a seizure

The car is cool the stalker arm thingy is not

  54. Mac Richardson

    August 22, 2022 at 9:21 pm

You did not mention what the projected price point was going to be.

  55. orcaman3100

  58. MWH

  61. Tom Tom

    August 22, 2022 at 10:13 pm

Why no mention of a plan for production, battery supplier, and price? As a former Delorean owner, I am sad to say this car will never make it. Production is hard. It’s even harder if you want to make a profit.

  62. Stuart H

    August 22, 2022 at 10:14 pm

Love the look but dose it come with a flux capacitor?

    August 22, 2022 at 11:31 pm

Literally if this thing didn’t have the doors, nobody would ever know it was connected in any way to Delorean. What a dissapointment. Like others have said, the N Vision 74 is more delorean than this “delorean”

Is this shot in Pebble Beach?

  74. The Naked Trucker

    August 23, 2022 at 12:59 am

It’s really a nice car nice looking and everything…. But, starting with this Delorean Band and and these new gidgets gadgets and features… what if the customer doesn’t want all that stuff? what if it don’t want my contacts displayed in the car? Or to know where people are or a “hug”. Who’s even asking for all these things??

  75. DirectorWD40

    August 23, 2022 at 1:08 am

The only DELOREAN about it is the name.
