I switched from IPhone to android 2 years ago due to frustrations with the lightning cable always breaking every few months. Was considering going back to Apple hopeing they went to usb c. I may have to stay with android. oh well…

I’m guessing the 2 lower end iPhones will be delayed for a few weeks maybe a month with very limited quantity at first…then the 2 higher end iPhones will be delayed more than month or a very low quantity (lower than the first two)..it’s gonna be slim pickings for iPhone 12 and 12 Pro ..

Who cares about the iPhone 12. That iPhone STILL has a notch in 2020! And still no 4K AMOLED screen or 1080p or 4K front-facing camera. No on-screen fingerprint reader either. Hey Apple, keep up with your competition! You guys suck right now! And plus when you send 4K videos to iPhone users, Mac users and Android users or on Gmail the video quality is blurry! Fix it, its 2020!

    • iwill 859

      July 3, 2020 at 9:15 pm

It does have 4k 60 front facing video recording and 4k oled display is overkill on battery life it’s quite pointless actually & doesn’t the notch house face ID? You know the most secure form of 3D biometrics

I would love to see a quality coupon for an Apple or Beats headphone something in the 75-100 dollar range in exchange for the charger and wired headphones being nixed from the box.

Sorry to say I been on the IPhone 7-plus since it came out and I have never had any problems. Just don’t see the point of buying a $1,000 phone again. I mean even with the upgrades. I am happy with what I have now I do want to upgrade but to me it just a statement. The 11 came out nearly a year ago and now we have the 12 coming out. Yeah I am still thinking about it though.

  26. Daniel Ramos

That’s the easiest question. “Would you rather save $50 and not be forced to get these items you already have?” Obviously. If someone needs them then spend that $50 you saved and get them. This way you only buy the cables if you need them, I’ve got so many chargers and headphones in my house I don’t want more

You can’t seriously claim it’s okay for them not to give a phone charger in the box. That’s like buying a car for full price but the engine is sold separately. Wtf

iPhone 12 will reduce the Notch to be able to make better use of the version of 5.4! I believe at least

My earbuds break fast and I use the ones with boxes and I was planing to get the 12 instead of getting the 11 now bc I just need to wait a few months and I said that at least I’ll have a new earbud too and charger then I saw thissss and I’m like NOOO ugh I hope apple puts the earbuds and chargers I really want them to come😞

  51. almczx

    July 5, 2020 at 11:25 am

And use rather pay the things that come with the phone rather then separately bc like what if the store I got the phone doesn’t have a lighting port or earbuds bc where I live there is no apple store we get phones and stuff in electronic stores

  52. weightycarlos

    July 5, 2020 at 11:34 am

Didn’t they assume that the iPhone 12 lineup will be the phone that most people will be upgrading to? Most iPhones and Android phones prior were using Type A as the charging port. Then why exclude the charging brick that has the USB-C? They only started using lightning to UBS-C officially with the iPhone 11, and for sure only a number of people will be upgrading from that to the iPhone 12.

  53. Hatashi Kun

  54. George Taylor

A lower price with add on charger and headphones prevents a lot of waste, in my drawers and a landfill. While phone have some valuable to recycle parts these items don’t. It’s bad enough they entice people with phone plans that allow upgrade to the latest every year, but adding something that previous owners have already is so wasteful.

  55. Cigar Brent

To use Car Play on my Harley Road Glide Special I need a port. No port no upgrade for me.

  57. ScooterD35

    July 5, 2020 at 8:44 pm

I don’t understand how they would justify selling new customers phones without including the means to charge them or use them hands-free in their cars. By the same logic, should they decide to eliminate the Lightning port, they would definitely need to include a wireless charger and dramatically increase the amount of free iCloud storage. Otherwise, a brand new customer would have no way to use their spiffy new iPhone or to do a complete backup of the device.

*Apple is a scam and heinous company, don’t buy it.*
*They rob and scam their customers blind. They even have suicide nets in their sweatshops. They are currently trying to legally stop independent 3rd party repair shops so Apple can keep exploiting their customers. They fear 3rd party repair businesses telling the Apple chump customer that a $400+ repair at the Apple store only costs $13. at a 3rd party repair shop. They also sabotage your device at some point (malware delivered via their “updates”), apps start to malfunction or the device switches off when using an app or the battery runs down faster. Then they claim that its just old and you need a new one, or they blame some other thing in the device that is not broken (almost always a lie), or they say they stopped supporting that device (that caused outrage with the I-Pad 1 but idiots still buy their crap products). They exploit anybody dumb enough or naive enough to buy their crap overpriced products. Whatever happened to CON$umer Protection ?*

your pulling on my heart strings….. some said that the 12 would have………… a rounded off..(….sigh,……. give me a minute it was hard on me when I heard this) edge design as the X’s and 11…….i was wounded….. I, like a couple million other 4, 5, SE ’16 design fans were hoping it would be on the SE 2020……diasppointed then the genesis of the 12’s design……SO MANY RENDERINGS ALL CONTRIBUTING TO THE HIN HINT OF THE 4-SE ’16’s design now its looked as if they’ve pulled another one on me (US, WHO WERE CERTAINLY HOPING)…… NOW YOU GIVE A LITTLE LIGHT OF HOPE THERE IS ……… i hope youre acuratley correct…. im on edge…..

the iPhone wall charger is $20, the EarPods is $20, and the usb to lightening port is $20. so you can get 3 things in $50 but then you don’t really need them so save $50 is a good option. I mean you don’t really use what included in the box anyway, so why even get upset over it.

  77. Ahmad Eido

    July 6, 2020 at 11:03 pm

I hope they don’t include either, it’s better for the environment, I have so many earbuds and 5watts chargers in my drawer, it’s just sad.

  81. Lukas Tomasch

    July 7, 2020 at 7:49 am

Honestly I have been using the last three iPhones with a non-apple wireless charger and a car charger and I almost never used their earbuds as they always had a crappy sound. So I personally wouldn’t care if there’s only the phone in the box. I think we all have a lightning or usb c cable lying around and those who love music have probably been using better wireless headphones for some time now anyway
