The Daylight DC1 Costs More Than An iPad, With Less Functionality

The Daylight is an e-Ink style black and white tablet that costs nearly twice as much as an iPad at $729. Daylight DC1 was designed to “foster a healthier relationship with technology” by paring down notifications and replacing blue-light with a soothing amber backlight. #daylightcomputer #tablet #ipad #kindle #daylight

Blackout over Warzone. I’d love for them to make a Blackout 2. But please keep it like the original 🍓🌺

CNET, you guys are understating this technology. It is an INK display with a ridiculously high refresh rate without any ghosting. Name one device that can do that

@@dylanevans5644 it’s definitely not e-ink. Even the light is not frontlight but actually backlight, but its pure amber though. Yea i get those vibes too, like their events and stuff seem a bit cultish

Disappointed in CNET’s surface level take here. Missing the point and true value of the DC1, which does things the iPad does not. For people who struggle with distraction from our addictive tech devices, this is an exciting development.

Failing to provide quality tech journalism while making the most beat, tepid memes is an embarrassing way to go, CNET.

You should be ashamed of yourself for doing this. This video does not talk about the devices feature at all. Instead shaming it for its price.

Earlier this month, we hit up Open Sauce in San Francisco, CA to see some of the coolest inventions, panels and innovations from around the world.

The event is the brainchild of YouTuber William Osman and was created as a “celebration of makers and creators”— a kind of VidCon for the STEM set meets Science Fair. While many exhibitors and panelists were professional content creators and scientists, we saw plenty of students and amateur enthusiasts sharing their creations just for the sake of science.

Looking forward to next year! Which was your favorite project? #science #makers #stem #opensauce #creators #robotics #ai #makerfaire

The Motorola Razr Plus and Razr are back for 2024! The Chicago-based company took last year’s models another step farther with new colors and finishes, upgraded cameras, Moto AI and Google Gemini. Motorola announced the phones along with new cases with straps that let you wear them across your body or with pearls and gold on your wrist. Perhaps the biggest surprise is a new Bluetooth tracker called the Moto Tag that works on Google’s Find My Device network, supports ultra wideband and has a couple of nifty features that other Bluetooth trackers should adopt.
