I think he doesn’t kill the boys because of a couple things partly because he would be insanely bored without the conflict that involves them all being around and how that probably unconsciously is him having a bit of a death wish and hating himself, since he definitely knows deep down somewhere that he is broken and that nothing he can do will fix that because it’s a result of his actions, how he was raised and his lack of morals. Also I wish he’d actually given an answer to this question other than being “because we wouldn’t have a show” as it feels like he’d have far more of an understanding of why than us as the person playing them for many years now.

I realized a very long time ago that I could never be an actor. It’s not because I can’t act. I’m actually quite good at that. I don’t have an expressive face. People can’t read me. I can be trying my damnedest to express emotion and I used to think I was being really obvious, and nobody ever had any idea what I was feeling. Maybe I should take up poker. The point is, having an expressive face is kind of a gift. Not everyone does, and if you don’t, it’s not something you can develop.

Okay, okay. We’ve never seen Homelander, or any other supe in the show, actually stop a crime. All of their superhero deeds are staged bits performed by Vought, with actors, and the actors, and often innocent bystanders, often end up dead in the process. Real criminals are probably relatively safe in this world, because Homelander isn’t going to bother himself with petty criminals.

2:21 you cant be afraid of heights if you can fly, the whole phobia is about falling, not the height itself
So if you can fly, youre no longer scared to fall, hence you dont fear heights anymore
