trains and busses are a better “self driving” alternative
autonomous cars are a waste of space and should be banned

I disagree. The tech should be developed to the point where normal people should never need to drive.

No. Better to have lots of tiny EVs like the Seat Minimo concept.

The US is utterly incapable of successfully completing infrastructure projects. I agree with you, I especially love the idea of Autonomous Rail Rapid Transit.

It would be cool to ride in those. I never have. It is a little creepy how the steering wheel turns by itself, though!

*I think it would be priced similarly if not a little higher.*
Yes, they don’t need to pay the driver, but they will need to pay for the vehicles.

@John Burke depending on price of vehicle. It be similar to one year salary of a driver. After that cost of maintains software and system.
If they want attract customer and t beat uber and lyft, they be smart cut fare in half and slowly make back for cost of the vehicle. They got two thing to over come, uber and trust if it customer

I dont like religious people trying to associate with technology. Its paradoxical
Nighthunt01
May 9, 2023 at 2:11 pm
It is a good thing no one else cares about what absurd things you don’t like. ChatGPT says
The statement “I don’t like religious people trying to associate with technology. It’s paradoxical” seems to be a sweeping generalization that doesn’t make much sense. People of all religions and beliefs use technology in their daily lives, and there is no inherent contradiction between religion and technology.
It’s important to recognize that technology is a tool that can be used for both good and bad purposes, and the moral and ethical considerations around its use are not limited to religious perspectives. In fact, many religious leaders and scholars have engaged in discussions about the impact of technology on society and how it can be used to promote greater social good.
Furthermore, it’s important to avoid making assumptions or stereotypes about people based on their religious beliefs. People should be judged based on their actions and behavior, rather than their religious affiliation or lack thereof.
Overall, it’s important to approach discussions about technology with an open mind and a willingness to engage in constructive dialogue, regardless of one’s religious or philosophical beliefs.

Looks like a great idea. How well does it function when it comes to poor weather conditions like heavy rain, fog, snowstorm or in a traffic congested city with full of people and bicycles like downtown N.Y. city? Would it ever let the passenger out in those conditions….? How does it prevent vandalism for people who creates or uses fake accounts or throw up everywhere or having a heart attack…. I wonder.
