   So when these fully automated vehicles eventually cause an accident. Whose responsible for the damages? Who pays for tickets for driving violations? Is it the owner of the vehicle? Even though they had no part in causing those?

    Those wing doors are an incredibly impractical design. Good luck on getting out in a tight space without destroying the car next to you. Plus it’s putting a lot of weight and stress on a single point. Telsa throws out something solved 100 years ago and creates a new batch of problems. I’m guessing they got rid of mechanical door locks as well. So it effectively acts as a human incinerator if it crashes. It works when it works. And kills you when it doesn’t?

    Is there any good reason to believe that the Cybercabs were controlling themselves and not being controlled remotely by a human? This is a concept car, after all.

    These will sell for under $30k as soon as the Model 3 does, that is to say, NEVER. This is more Musk BS vaporware.

    I’d command Tesla robo car to go home after dropping me off, pick up food at drive in window, pick me up at wherever, park in shaded parking spot, move to another parking spot if someone tries to steal it, meet me in another state while i take the plane, go to shop to change tires, etc.

    These are very nice. They wouldn’t fair well in Montreal weather, but if we could get a bunch of these on the road in warmer climates, congestion goes down. Renting your car out as a taxi while at work? I like that. A car that appreciates in value? Yes please. Again though, that low to the ground design wouldn’t pan out in MTL. Still though, I still hate driving. Yes I want a car that drives itself so I can read while in transit.

    Wheel covers. We know that early cardboard mock-ups of the cyber cab had cardboard wheels. I reckon this look grew on the designers. So, they decided to keep the look with those beige wheel covers.
