But social media companies like Twitter are severely biased & their latest warning label on Trump tweets, for example, referred to opinions of the 3rd party journalists rather than facts!!! That was no “responsible action”. Moreover, once platforms automate the flagging / “censorship” , the rules are part of a black box. There is no transparency right now. What Trump is doing with his executive order, is enforcing existing rules! Platforms need to be responsible! CDT seems to represent the regressive pro leftists while engaging in doublespeak (they claim to want freedom of speech but also censorship because the “orange man is bad”)!

I have yet to see that fact warnings as censorship The reader is free to explore and find there own “truth”. What exactly is being censored? Nothing it is just a red herring ,used to stoke emotion for a issue that carries strong emotion.

J Gaffney I referred to platforms like Twitter. YouTube took down the videos of the two doctors questioning the effectiveness of the lockdown & the potency of the virus. Leftists & the mainstream media praised that move. That was one of the many examples of censorship.

All the government does is violate the first amendment and then blame it on vague terms and conditions of tech companies WHO HAVE NO INTEREST IN CENSORING THEIR USERS.

The congress has the power to create and edit laws… seems like both of the parties are in support of this change. So good luck hiding behind that 1st amendment when it is connivence for you.

Why should the tech giants have the authority to decide what is misleading speech and what is not?

    • TheGoodNewsGuy

      June 4, 2020 at 2:55 pm

Exactly, we have brains let us use them to make our own decisions.

Well social media violates first amendment what ever the case. It always was the problem of who violates it. None of these people claiming to “protect first amendment” cares about first amendment, but only protecting their assest

    You no longer have democracy.
Hello, you will have no choice. Trump has just fired James Mattis. What for? He will send troops to your country now and he will make the whole country burn. And the first will e.g. be the CNN headquarters.
People wake up, your democracy is END.

sell out Jesus to hang again on the cross for terrorist master trump, trumps terrorist troops used tear gas bombs ,charging horses, clubs and rubber bullets to show force not to stop anything, and trump never once said anywhere or at anytime when talking to the news he did that to stop anything, he said he wanted to go take a picture for a promotional ad,of him and the church, a bible with his friends. not one time did he say he did it over ice fill bottles or stone bricks, he has talked about this a lot and nothing the peaceful american protesters did came out of his mouth, for those involved to hurt will rot in hell for sin and blasphemy, against the Spirit, will not be forgiven.they used the bible of our lord Jesus to hurt and punish, for all those that took place in trumps plan will forever be damned they all better ask for forgiveness and find a way to heal the hurt they did on Gods people. pure evil was in control that day it has to stop.
