Switch pro is definitely enticing. If it can output 4k stable 30 or even 60, I’m sold on it.
Dual sense edge seems like a let down so far with “moderately low” battery life for something that costs 200 bazingas and personally, I’m not that interested in the VR even though it looks fantastic and cloud focused device seems good, but not for me.

I would still wait on reviews to get out before I pull the trigger on any of these. Thanks for putting the video out earlier than anyone else CNET!

The Switch Pro would be full 1080p 60fps at best… That would be a generational leap forward for Nintendo.

      I’d rather have 1080p 60fps

I’d like to see a PS5 Pro. The PS5 had a shortage for too long and many people that still want one can’t fond one. No point in getting one now that its been out for this long (yet there’s STILL a shortage). Might as well wait for a more powerful version to come out. 🤷‍♂️

    • NorbJorb

      December 27, 2022 at 1:46 pm

PS5 will have software released for at least 10 years from now. And they’re incredibly easy to find and purchase.

It would make sense to get a ‘Switch Pro’ but we should wait for more official confirmation.
I have yet to get a Switch so maybe I will get this supposed Pro version.

I also have yet to get a PS5 and I hope this rumored ‘D Chassis’ version with the removal disc drive is an upgrade besides that. Perhaps that model could have 2 internal slots for storage since storage will be the big issue this generation. With SSD prices continuously dropping, hopefully we see NVMe drives that come bigger than the 2TB capacity. I’d also presume Sony would include a larger capacity internal drive or let us replace the main drive.

    • ATLsF1N3ST91

      December 27, 2022 at 2:44 pm

I have 38 PS5 games installed on my PS5 with a 2tb internal NVME drive and another 29 ps4 games installed on an external 2tb HDD. I can not IMAGINE needing more then that on a PS5… No way you are actively playing 30+ PS5 games at a time without being able to delete some to add more…

    • xxnike0629xx

      December 27, 2022 at 3:57 pm

@ATLsF1N3ST91 You’d think so… But watch as time goes on. More games, DLC, patches… It all adds up quick.

    • ATLsF1N3ST91

      December 27, 2022 at 7:36 pm

@xxnike0629xx As time goes on?? The largest games take up 100-160GB of space. The PS5 can have 5TB of internal space currently and 8TB of spafe externally, and we’re ready 2yrs into the life cycle.. There is no surprise, it’s nearly impossible to run out of space, even if you’re the most lazy user on Earth who can’t be bothered to delete old games they don’t touch anymore…

I still have my PS2 and my Xbox 360 in addition to my newer X One; I’m not buying anything more. I got plenty of games on sale this month, and I’m rotating through them all. I saw Witcher got a huge update, so I’m glad I haven’t played the DLCs yet if there was some problem.

    You Have Problems, Not Issues
Somewhere, at some point over the recent past, someone decided that it was no longer acceptable for a person to say what he or she means; it was no longer acceptable to speak in precise, direct words. And what’s worse, someone, somewhere decided that we should all be offended when someone calls a problem a problem. Everything has to be translated into some sort of euphemism. I don’t really know why it started, but can we please stop referring to every problem as an issue?

An employee no longer has a problem keeping up with production; he has an issue. A child no longer has a problem behaving in class; she has an issue. A married couple in therapy no longer has problems in their marriage; they have issues.

Even bad weather now causes performance issues on the football field and traffic issues on the road; and a basketball player with a sprained ankle has an ankle issue. I’m not sure what’s so offensive about discussing traffic problems, health problems, or a sloppy football game. Is it just me?

The problem—that is, what’s wrong—with substituting issue for problem is that those two words are not synonymous—and no amount of being politically correct, disingenuous, or even condescending—yes, it can be condescending—will make it so.

An issue is a topic, such as The candidates will discuss the issues at the debate. That means that the candidates will discuss the different topics, or subject areas, involved in running our country.

A problem is something negative. A problem is something that needs to be solved. A problem is something that we try to overcome. A problem is something that we don’t want. There, I’ve said it. And it feels great.

An issue is not a problem, but I’ll tell you what is a problem: the grammatically incorrect trend of telling someone that he has an issue when what you really mean is that he has a problem. Call it what it is, and it’ll be easier to solve.

You clearly don’t understand the tech behind it. It needs the chord for the full power of ps5. And don’t forget you can play hours and hours straight without needing to worry about a battery. I’d rather have full fledged aaa games on my vr then mobile crap the quest 2 has alot of right now. That’s the difference. Price for the tech is actually very reasonable.

I like how everyone is saying Switch Pro, when Nintendo doesn’t go that route. It’ll be a Switch XL or “new” Nintendo Switch, like with the new Nintendo 3DS (because that wasn’t confusing).
