If all you need is a dish, what’s the difference between the roaming and residential services? What prevents me from taking my “residential” dish to wherever I want?…
@island97
June 18, 2024 at 7:22 pm
You can move the dish to a new location ( change in resident) but you’ll have to chance the service address on your account.
The roaming option allows you to use the dish in motion . Eg on an RV
@imaginative-monkey
June 18, 2024 at 7:34 pm
@@island97 Thanks, I see… so, they’re intentionally locking the residential version to an address, to be able to charge more for the roaming service. Otherwise, there shouldn’t be a limitation to use my dish anywhere…
@island97
June 18, 2024 at 7:56 pm
@@imaginative-monkey the roaming dish has a different design as well. Of course roaming will cost more , bc its a higher cost of operation for the service. Just like roaming fees are higher for cellphones.
