      YES… it is his company.
      For those who don’t understand…
If you own a company, you can fire people.
Let’s say you own a restaurant and your employees are talking shit, you can fire them.
You can take your grievances to the boss, not social media or the public.

So you are out! No free speech in a private company.

He should stop calling himself the free speech guy.

He made a flight attendant sign a NDA after giving her a hush money for exposing himself (showed off his junk), offering to buy her a horse for a sex, & had her demoted her after she rejected his repeated sexual advances.

He blocked all people who pointed out the dangers & lack of safety of the vehicles & projects of his companies.

His underground tunnel has no emergency exits & drivers can die from suffocation in fires or floods.

His Tesla vehicle doors do not open in fires, lock in people in the car in fires.
There are actual cases of people who were locked in the vehicles & burned alive to death.

I have seen videos of him walking around the facilities and for the most part, people don’t seem to care he is there. They just keep doing whatever, and it does not look like a “staged event.” No doubt many people are being pushed to the breaking point working on these projects, but I think you know that going in. It was not cool how he threw shade at the original raptor design team, Musk has said he is head of engineering, so there should be no excuse to “blame” anyone other than himself (the drama looked weak, because it was.)

Elon Musk is a smart guy. He’s a bit out of touch socially due to his mental illness. But it seems he’s seeking attention and he consumes it as it fuels his narcism. He’s falling too deep into the social blackhole that he’s unable to lead his companies. He should cease and desist and never be heard of again.

“employment at will”. This means that an employer can legally fire an employee for any lawful reason
At-Will Employment – When employees are hired under this, employers can terminate/fire them for any reason or no reason at all. Thus, they can be laid-off without any warning. However, employees cannot fire at-will employees for discrimination or employees who are engaged in legally protected activities.
As long as the reason for the termination or lay off is not discriminatory, it is completely legal for the employer to terminate your employment. In a dismissal without cause, your employer is required to give you reasonable notice of termination.

I don’t think Musk is an example of rebranded slavery in America. In fact, just the opposite is the case, I think. And his companies, in my opinion, serve as great models of the worker/employer arrangement. His companies strive to optimize social responsibility as part of the worker/employer arrangement. A work environment is a team not a social milieu in flux.
