Why are people acting like they’ve never heard of Lightning to USB-C adapters before or that anyone cares about a price increase, especially when iPhone users don’t speak broke? Apple, take my money. 💰😁

To be honest, usually, her videos are good and informative. This one seems to just want to bash apple ahead of time. Yes, we know they aren’t cheap phones, and come in 4 models for the iPhone 15 model. I prefer to avoid theatrics when trying to listen to product videos. Think I am going to put this changed on my ignore list for a while.

I have friends who have older iPhones but when I asked them if they would buy a new one, they said no. A few would buy an Android because of price. I’ve never owned an iPhone & never will.

When the market slows, Apple puts it’s price up to counter balance and retain profits—and it’s perfectly positioned to do so. Those wanting cheaper are buying into the wrong brand. In actual fact, those that can easily pay more, will actually be happier to know that they now have that which many others can’t afford. It will make them feel more exclusive and special. And Apple keep their profit margin (or even extend it?!). This is Apple, it’s nothing new—it’s where they have always positioned themselves. You don’t have to buy into it. And USB C is better, 20 times faster than Apple’s lightening; and Android has been using it for many years already. Just sayin’.

Had every iPhone since 2009 and since then, all are the same boring user interface not customizable. Things in life are only temporary and so are electronics….better off buying a used samsung note 20 ultra for example it has expanded memory. All smart phones do the same thing, make phone calls, text and watch YouTube videos, and take puctures, whether new or older…..smart phones are devices used by government agencies as spy tools.

I finally paid off my iPhone 12 Pro Max this past June 2023 via January 2021 when I bought it brand new at AT&T (but I’m pissed off at them for over charging me towards my last 2 final payment to them😡😡😡😡 I ALMOST SWITCHED cellphone companies) I’m still with them sadly even though I’ll be mad at them forever for ripping me off😡😡😡😡

I’m debating if I should even upgrade to iPhone 15 Pro Max at now; hmm 🤔🤔🤔🤔 due to me hearing the cost of the Pro Max line up all over YouTube😢😢

But I did hear my iPhone 12 Pro Max has a good 2-3 years to go or longer on it and I’ll save for whatever future iPhone out there maybe…?!?!

I also agree with some other folks about repairability. There was a leak just posted on MacRumors recently that looked like it could be branding for a new “R” phone that really pushed sustainability, and I’m looking forward to whatever it entails. Wonder if Apple will ever follow up and actually act on their new Right to Repair stance…

I haven’t shopped for an phone in 5 years. I realized when looking. Apple has already increased the cost of the phones. The regular iPhone is last years model. You have to get the pro to get the latest phone. Such a scummy way to do it.

I used to get a new iPhone every two years but the updates/improvements are so incremental now that I’d rather just splurge on a new battery and forge on. I take care of my 12 Pro Max and it takes care of me. No urgent need to go with a 15 Ultra but we’ll see if there are any surprises come 9/12…

Covid is an excuse.. a bs one at that. So bars, restaurants and cinemas are working full capacity, clubs and football stadiums are full of ppl , but ofc COVID only targets Apple lmao. I always supported Apple and i actually DO ENJOY the whole package an iPhone is, but they are getting super greedy, forced by authority to switch to USB C ( something that should be done on their own long ago) and putting periscope lens ( something other manufacturers like Samsung ) have for years and increase the price with 200 dollars on the pro max.. incredible greed for sure! Why would customers take the hit for the change to USB C ? Something we beg them for years to do and something even mediocre mid range phones have for years..

Only have to purchase a new iPhone every year is if you are one of “those people” who must always have the latest, and greatest. Knew a person who purchased a new sports car every year. I purchase a new car if my old one dies, or is over ten years old and the motor needs to be replaced.

Pundit’s live in this world of new iPhone every year because it is part of their job. Thing is they do not understand that most normals keep devices like the iPhone for five, or more years before they replace them. I now have an iPhone 11 Pro that is which is three years old. More than likely going to keep it around for a few more years before it is replaced.

Only reason I might purchase the iPhone 15 Pro, or ProMax is if it has high speed data transfer rate like USB4/Thunderbolt 4 of 40GB. Hate how long it takes to transfer my home video clips from my iPhone to my Apple M1 MacBook Air via the lame lightning port introduced back on September 12, 2012. Which makes it 260 PhD Robert Metcalfe “The Father of Ethernet” (inside joke) technology years old. Bob often told me six months in networking/computers is equal to a decade in any other industry.

So . . . “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.”
    ― Ferris Bueller

As a normal do not care about live Apple Events. Having first worked in the professional production world right out of college can tell you live events are a royal pain in the butt. As a normal Love the fit, and finish of the canned Apple product introductions.
