Why are you using the basic mode on the Xperia? This phone is not for you clearly..

Damn, Sony upped their camera game! But the price, yikes!

I’ll stick with my real camera for now.

I think you should review your prices at the conclusion
    Samsung S23 Ultra 256Gb at 1419€.
    Iphone 14 Pro 256Gb at 1459€.
His prices I found directly on the sites of the brands in question
But otherwise in the whole your video is great

Lazy review. I don’t own a Sony myself, but this guy just skipped all the things this phones has to offer which other flagships don’t and only relied on the auto capabilities on the BASIC mode. Now try 120/4K on all lenses of your Samsung, cinetone, eye-tracking, high shutter speed quality…list goes on. And that’s just on the camera side. Dude did Sony dirty.

7:16 yikes that looks horrible compared to the iPhone…

Looking at those images make me happy with my S21Ultra, as I can’t see any real improvements in IQ. Also looking at the IP rating of the new Sony makes me laugh. This thing isn’t even water proofed!

      May 11, 2023 at 8:35 pm

Bro hahah this review doesn’t show the “IQ”. It’s all about auto mode and with HDR setting turned off. If you knew what you were talking about you’d wanna see the other settings and camera features- which a first-look review doesn’t show. Check out Juan Bagnell and Jason Vrong for actual review

He didn’t even use the camera how it was supposed to be used lol😂….that phone camera is about the photographer taking it

The video is about buying a Samsung phone, don’t buy Sony It is not suitable for everyone, an unfair comparison, and Xperia was not treated fairly . Xperia Worth $200 more because
Recorded 4k 120 fps on all lenses
    and 4k 120 hz display
    Sd card
    3.5 jack
    Front stereo speakers
Are these features not worth the extra $200? I don’t know why you hate Xperia phones for no reason

If Sony would just lower the price (£1100), improve the overheating and extend the software life (4years) i bet many people including me would transfer just for the little things Sony still keeps ( like microSD & headphones port ).

      May 11, 2023 at 8:31 pm

How do you know it overheats?

    May 11, 2023 at 7:52 pm

Kinda weird how you don’t use a pixel, the best camera on a smartphone for years, to compare to and instead use the very lackluster iphone camera.

Sony always likes that, for pre order they give free headphone/earbuds but the price will drop a lot 1 year later.. i think Sony bundled the phone and earbuds together so they can sell both at the same times, the earbuds are premium and it is not cheap to give for free..

The S23 camera is impressive. It’s unfortunate Samsung abandoned the micro SD slot. I don’t want to pay for cloud storage.

“samsung dominates night mode”..?? Excuse me? Samsung turns night to daylight – that isn’t night mode. The Xperia V has dual layer pixels which no other phone has and draws in more light than any other phone while retaining more details and low noise.

They have to promote the company that pays the most on marketing lol.

I wonder if this suffers from the same overheating issues as the Mark 4.

    • Danger369

      May 11, 2023 at 8:29 pm

No. It’s almost double the length in 4K 120. More than anyone would want to use.

The phone is for serious content creators and not for people who want to just spam on Instagram.

Wow on a serious note someone looks like the need a checkup pronto…the eyes tell all.

Not going to lie as someone who’s been in Graphic Design for 24 years these photos even on youtube at 4k look far more accurate to life than even the Pixel 7 pro..

  23. Chris Bullock

    May 11, 2023 at 8:34 pm

No Pixel 7 Pro!? LOL…probably would of only made it a two phone competition.

How do you review a phone thats all about recording in manual mode but only focused on auto mode lol. Its like comparing tesla to a Ferrari

I love how this is suppose to be a “Camera Review” of the Xperia 1v but he didn’t even mention it’s main capabilities like the dedicated camera apps for professional photography which they’ve further improved.
