What if the path to peace starts with self-interest? After four decades inside some of the world’s most dangerous conflict zones, mediator Hiba Qasas has learned that most peacebuilding efforts get it wrong from the start. She makes a provocative case that conciliation shouldn’t begin with empathy — and reveals how leading with shared incentives brought hundreds of Israeli and Palestinian leaders into active collaboration, even in the midst of war.

The ONLY two reasons that we deal with the silly concept of ‘war’ are (in no particular order) ‘religion’, and ‘money’. Fix that, and diplomacy becomes unnecessary. Frankly, I personally believe that both are a complete waste of time, and deplete our creativity, and coordination. ‘Greed’ and ‘god’ will destroy us- IF we let them.

This is a very disingenuous speech. There are many sentences laid with subtext and diversion. For example, Palestinians aren’t having to ask simply just for ‘dignity’, they are asking for their lives also.
