    It’s very strange that Slack has performed very poorly (the stock) during this pandemic. You would think they would be one of the biggest winners with the lockdowns. So I don’t quite get it.

      @Marlon Allen Yes I agree. Honestly, every time I watch an interview with Slack’s CEO I feel like he says nothing. He has accomplished a lot, one would think he would have interesting and useful things to say.

    Nothing here is telling me why Slack Tech is. IRC, Usenet, email — these are protocols, not companies. Only corporate entities with ignorant management would buy into a proprietary means of communication.

      A lot of companies are buying into Microsoft Teams but it’s a complimentary tech so it’s not a big issue and there are alternatives.
