You think there would be _more_ speech online and less content removal without Section 230? 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

It online services like Twitter, YouTube and Facebook become legally responsible for all user generated content they will simply take down *anything* that poses a legal risk.

No Section 230 = no speech online.

@Thomas No, users could just opt out. Simple, just like when you go paintball, you sign a release (aka hit agree)

Extremist groups! That is all good and well, but. What about all the child porn on facebook and twitter? How is child porn not under your policies for removal?

I listened to the Senate Hearing this morning. The hearing was almost 4 hours long and what I learned was worth every minute. Hillary Clinton said that her 2016 loss was because of Russian disinformation so this hearing is so needed coming into the 2020 election.

The very existence of the internet is to protect free speech. That should tell you all need to know. That idea is bigger then any CEO’s craving for control.
