    Why did Ned Stark die?

Because he was played by Sean Bean, nearly every character Sean Bean plays ends up dead by the end.

I mean that is nothing bad, it is just the roles he ends up playing, I guess.

Why does does he yell Baelor? Baelor was an old king. There was a statue of him where the incident happened. The statue is where Arya was. It was Yoren who he wanted to protect Arya.

  17. Omnominus

    April 22, 2019 at 6:47 pm

I thought he said “Baelor” because Arya was sitting on the statue of baelor during the execution. He shouted it to Yoren, who then noticed Arya there and grabbed her so that he could protect her/shield her eyes.

  20. Nizar Bashir

    April 22, 2019 at 7:16 pm

Actually, when Ned Stark shouts “Baelor” it’s because he spots Arya by the statue of Baelor and is subtly telling his comrade to get to her quickly to keep her safe.

  21. Nintendo Music Channel

    April 22, 2019 at 7:24 pm

I like how he misremembered Baelor–it wasn’t a prayer, he was telling Yoren to look at the Baelor statue where Arya was so Yoren could save her.

Ned worships the old gods! Why would he want a priest of the seven to look over Arya?!
