Samsung Electronics Co. launched a new $400 smart ring that will monitor the wearer’s fitness and sleep, as well as a $650 smart watch with sleep apnea detection and two-day battery life. The Galaxy Ring and the Galaxy Watch Ultra were unveiled at the Samsung Unpacked event in Paris. The company’s push into the premium segment of health gadgets shows the world’s biggest smartphone maker taking on Apple Inc.
